Been going four years and had the worst experience of my life today was in the drive-through order the number five catfish left and got to the park where I ate my food and noticed my catfish was not in there I just had a big box filled with french fries so I called them and the gentleman told me he would put the catfish in the fryer and they would be ready when I got there I arrived 12 minutes later no catfish and I ended up waiting 20 more minutes for my cat fish which was still never cooked so I ended up asking for a refund and that Asian gentleman who I had talk to called me a liar and said he never talk to me and that I would have to wait on the fish for another 10 more minutes because the people in the waiting line had been given all the fish but I ended up getting missed.still no fish so I gave them the box of french fries and asked for a refund and the gentleman was very hateful and rude and was saying rude comments if u go through drive thru plz check ur order because they will refuse to help u if they forget something in ur order I didn't have the time since my lunch break was a quick one but next time I will be more aware of my order...

Online Order via DoorDash- Ordered a 5 pc chicken and the chicken was old, skin was stretchy like it was microwaved for reheat.
Spoke to the manager due to the fact that I managed to eat a drum stick and it gave me an absolute upset stomach.
She had no emotion and didn’t care for what I had to say over the phone and stated there was a return policy that clearly isn’t visible to the customer due to it not being located on the receipt, or mentioned on DoorDashed. ( we threw the chicken away)
She swears they don’t re heat chicken, I would have believed her too but due to the fact that i definitely received old chicken she’s blatantly lying.
My chicken meat was browned and clear in color due to it being stale ( OLD) the skin was not crunchy, it had a pull to it as if it were reheated in the microwave because anyone whose eaten microwaved chicken knows how the hell it taste.

I usually order for pickup. My first impression of this place was that it wasn't kind of place I expected (it's in a strange neighborhood). But my food is always hot and fresh, and I'm usually in and out within seconds.
Trip's special is the fried fish, mac, slaw, and a drink. Fish is legit; seasoned well, crispy coating, moist and delicious. Gotta have it with the tartar. Mac is nice and cheesy with good texture. I usually don't like slaw, but Lisa's slaw is sweet, delicious, and really helps to cut down the grease. Recommend throwing in some hushpuppies too.
Chicken is pretty good most of the time, it stays crispy, tender, and juicy for a while. Not mind-blowing delicious, but homestyle and very good for the value you get out of this place.
