Nelly's Paleteria Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Granite Shoals

WOW! This is the best kept secret in all of Granite Shoals. This is a Hispanic owned establishment that makes fresh, homemade dip ice cream, and ice cream bars. They also have a variety of fruit, w chamoy and tajin/spices. Oh but WAIT, there’s more!!! They have those ooey, gooey, delicious bags of seasoned chips in a bag, sliced open and topped with all kinds of goodness. Definitely a place to pickup handheld lunches and snacks. This is definitely on our stops when we come back through again...

This place is a gem! Loved it! Don’t let the simple facade on the outside fool you. Inside you’ll find more than enough flavors of delicious homemade ice cream, slushies and more. We tried and loved the Ferraro, Ube, Cafe, Oreo, and Queso (like a sweet cream). They only take cash so be sure you have cash on you BUT, the store next door has an ATM inside if you need. Highly recommend and hope to be back before our trip to Granite...

The ice cream is wonderful!!! So far, I especially like the Tequila flavor, my husband likes the banana pudding flavor, and the Coffee flavor is sooo good! The ladies behind the counter are very friendly. I definitely recommend you check this place out. We will be back to try...
