Wendy's — Restaurant in Grant District

Long review warning in hopes that management does actually read these. I visited Wendy's on 2/15 at approximately 7:15am and there was only one other car there already at the pick up window. When I got to the Drive-thru menu, I was told they would be with me in a second which turned into about 5 minutes. I think they forgot I was there. After I ordered, out of curiosity I went to the reviews while waiting for my food and was able to read them all. I'd say 10+ minutes to get my food in total from the time I pulled into Wendy's. The service workers were friendly and apologetic. The food was hot and delicious. The wait time did not frustrate me because I have no where to be in a hurry. If you are in a hurry, while this new establishment works out their kinks, I would recommend saving yourself the frustration. Touching base on some of the the other reviews: they fixed the aweful entrence and exit of the property. They are new, cut them a break on the reviews while they learn how to opperate efficiently. I just want to say that this store is decent but if you want food, do NOT order online, I say you should go in person to order. I ordered from DoorDash and my first driver completely stole my food and did not deliver it. I don’t blame the restaurant for that at all, the food is good but my order had a few things wrong, and I feel like it is definitely okay to forget things but they put the food items on the receipt but still got it wrong. This restaurant is pretty good aside from these simple mistakes. I feel bad for Wendy’s because they lost money due to the door dasher who stole the food, although in the end I did get my food thanks to the nice employees and also my amazing, outstanding dasher.

Was at this Wendy's at 10:30pm Saturday night August 16th coming home from Mountaineer casino. I stopped and got the baconator meal. Drove the hour and 10 minutes home back to Ohio. With stomach pain. Within minutes of arriving home I was in the bathroom with severe diareah. I ended up with a fever, severe diareah, body aches, nausea and vomiting. FOOD POISONING from this crap place. This is only the 2nd time in my life eating at Wendy's and the last time. I never eat fast food but I grabbed it for the drive home.
