I just dropped in here on Friday for lunch and it was great. It is nice to find another good BBQ place here in Melbourne. The area is severely lacking in good BBQ overall. This is a gem. Some good down home friendly service combined with some tasty BBQ. I tried the ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. All had good smoke flavor and were very tender. The ribs had a nice dry rub on them which is what prefer. The pulled pork was super tender. The brisket was very good and seasoned well. All had just the right amount of smoke flavor. My only small knock is I am not a big fan of the sauces. That’s a highly personal thing anyway so some may like something that others don’t. No worries I did takeout so I was able to put my own homemade BBQ sauce on the pulled pork. The ribs and brisket don’t need any sauce, they are super tasty without it and my preference is consider on those anyway. I like a little sauce on the pulled pork though. Definitely do yourself a favor and give this place a try if you haven’t. Warning though…you probably won’t want to go to any of the other so called BBQ places in the area after you try...

Good Afternoon. My name is william livingston and I am the promotions manager for brita pro of central florida. I stumbled across this tiny little barbecue joint.By happenstance after visiting a few customers in the grant area.. After indulging myself. On the pulled, pork road kill potatoes and smoked baked left room for the homemade banana pudding. But not realizing that you can't just have one. The entire ride back to the Daytona Beach because my eyes got bigger than my stomach. And ever percepts I have been hooked that I have to absolutely stop. At big dogs barbecue to have more of their food on a regular basis . Their attention to service and quality Of food. That's what allowed me to choose them to cater. My wedding that was in the area. And among the 50 guests I had attend every. One of them complimented. On how amazingly delicious the food was.. and that macaroni was 🔥... Thank you guys. For your dedication to making good barbecue. And customer satisfaction I can't wait to stop and get...

I live about a mile from this little wooden trailer place and get a discount for gas at the station, so I am there a good bit, and every time, the barbecue smells just heavenly. Finally, I caved in and gave it a try. Yes, the view isn't great and it's by a gas station convenience store, but so what? The food is absolutely WONDERFUL, the people are very nice and the portions are HUGE and not pricey. Since I lie so close, I take my sandwich home with me, or there are lovely picnic tables with lovely views just a bit further south on the riverside at the Grant Historical House. Five dollars for the pulled pork sandwich is more than fair as it easily makes two meals and is piled so high. I eat half and save half and ask for an extra serving of the sweet sauce to add when I heat the second half. The roadkill potatoes are also good, but are the only other thing I've ever tried. The pulled pork sandwich is so very, very good that I don't even want to try anything else. It is drip down your chin...

Great hidden gem! We ate tangy and hot sauce pulled pork sandwiches. Both were excellent, reasonably priced, and some of THE BEST BBQ I EVER HAD! Danielle (spoke en francais "Daniell-ah^) greets customers with an infectious smile and easy laughter that makes you feel like you had been coming here forever. Highly recommend for a roadside stop. Out on the bike, it was a beautiful day. And there was a picnic table near the river, with a roof UPDATE brought home rotisserie duck with smoked beans and roadkill potatoes (potatoes and kielbasa). OMG! I am not into smoked food, but this was excellent!!!!! Fresh meat and yum!

Easily the best BBQ in Brevard, this is definitely a Texas style bbq but delicious. The ribs were literally fall off the bone, the pulled pork was juicy and tender, the Cajun boiled peanuts sold me on this bring a legit southern spot. Living in Alabama for several years has me spoiled for bbq, and Big Dogs is good, solidly Texas style. Huge portions, and for two dinners plus two drinks it was just under $40- so we felt it was a good deal as well. We drove down to fisherman’s landing to eat and watch the boats.
