Old Grant Creamery — Restaurant in Grant-Valkaria

Before the pandemic we’ve never had any problems. Since, I’ve gone numerous times and got several different excuses. (1)didn’t get our flavors in, (2)not enough staff, (3)didn’t have time to make it (only 2 flavors were available), (3)closed for the hurricane (but Rib City was open) and this was the day before it even hit the gulf. There were FIVE OF US ready to have double scoops and they wouldn’t serve us.

Early we even told them on occasion that the open sign wasn’t on and got “Oops! I’ll turn it on” or “Oops, I forgot”.

Apparently they just don’t care. I don’t know how they can survive if they turn away business. This was the last time I will go to this establishment. It’s not like it’s the only ice cream shop in or around Grant Valkaria...

Came here with my mother for her birthday Between 1:10 pm and 1:45pm on a Thursday. No one was at counter to serve us, we waited for 30 min while people from restaurant peaked in to see us waiting offering no help. Now leaving disappointed. Previous experience was good and came to show my mother an awesome root beer float now going home empty...

Update: I decided to try again and have been back a few times now. Seems the error above was corrected! Someone always seems to be paying attention to the front counter every time I have been back. Capitalism at its finest! Five stars for...

Everytime we stop for ice cream there is a new flavor and they are all delicious. The decor is super fun, and there is outdoor seating in a tiki style area too. Prices are pretty good and the serving size is huge. If they have it try the Pineapple upside down cake ice cream, or the Cookie Jar - our personal favorites!
