Nonna Luce Del' Sole Pizzeria — Restaurant in Grantsburg

We ordered pizza and wings Friday night. It's so nice to have the option of pizza delivery again in our area. The food was delicious. However, placing the order over the phone took almost 10 minutes. We cut some slack there, because it was clear that the girl who took our order was new/just learning the whole system. She told us that delivery was free if we lived less than 10 miles from the restaurant (great, we live 5.5 miles away). The delivery took longer than expected, because the delivery person got lost. She called us to ask directions. Turns out she drove almost halfway to Danbury on County Road F looking for our house (at least 15 miles further north than needed...then had to turn around and backtrack to us). The food was still warm when she arrived, but we were charged an $8 delivery fee for being over 10 miles away from the restaurant...HMM. That kinda sucked, because we only live 5.5 miles from the restaurant.

We'd definitely order from them again, but maybe next time I'll drive into town to pickup our food, rather than pay an extra $8.00...

We just ordered 4 pizzas and the total amount came to $91.17 FOR FOUR PIZZAS. I had ordered over the phone I was never told the total amount, if I would have been told or given the time to ask and was told that I would have said never mind. This is what we had ordered.. 16" and 12" Hawaiian pizzas with no bacon substitute pepperoni, a 16" cheese pizza and a 14" pepperoni pizza... $91.17 WITHOUT TIP. It took everything I had to pay for these pizzas... I'm not the type of person to to order something and then say never mind after its been made.... but oh my gosh today was almost the day I turn into that person. The prices don't even match the menu online! It says that the 16" Hawaiian is $24.50 online but on my recipe it shows it's $29.... the other pizza prices don't match either!... needless to say we will not be ordering food from here anymore.... very disappointing... you're a small town pizza joint... in grantsburg.... read the...

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. This place has proved its worth time and time again; since the current owners took over, maybe 3 years ago. The previous owners were great, and these people have stacked amazing on top of greatness and smothered it in consistency. I would drive an hour to eat this pizza....
