The Travel Mug — Restaurant in Grantsville

I passed through town earlier this week, and needed a place to work remotely for a few hours. Having not spent much time in western Maryland and being an outsider in a smaller local community, I had no idea what to expect, but the environment and atmosphere of the Travel Mug couldn't have been more lively and welcoming and cozy. It seemed to be the community gathering place early in the morning, and people continued to stop by throughout the day. The best dirty chai latte I’ve ever had! This is now on my must stop list of places when I’m driving in the area. Cookies from the local general store are 12/10! They have seasonal latte and chai drinks. I had the Honey Barrel Chai Latte and I wanted to buy gallons of it for later, that how great this spot is! Cute atmosphere that includes some local art that can be purchased as well! Definitely stop here if you’re taking I-68. It’s so close off the interstate. Great area to walk around and...

I stumbled upon this little gem of a coffee shop while passing through town, and I’m so glad I did! The coffee is rich, smooth, and clearly made with care.
