Chappy's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Grayville

Brought my family for a good dinner. It seemed to start off good. I ordered a t-bone, my daughter ordered a filet my wife the filet and shrimp. Our meal came out, I got what I ordered my wife did too except it was over cooked. They brought my daughter a ribeye instead of a filet. We sent the the ribeye back and my wife's filet back because it was over cooked. The waitress had said the manager is coming to our table, but never showed. The waitress came back and told my wife that her filet was frozen. So my wife told her to forget about it. She went to the kitchen and told them to forget the 4 oz filet. Meanwhile while we waited for my daughters meal to come back out. We could hear the kitchen and wait staff talking about our order. By this time I am already done with my meal. We finally get our waitress back to our table to see what is going on with my daughters meal. The explanation was very vague. At this point we decided that this was just not going to happen. So we asked for the bill just for my meal. Still no manager to be seen and no explanation for my daughter's meal. We have eaten here before many of times. For the price, service, and the fact that it's frozen makes this the last time we step foot in there. Save your time and money and go...

I'm so sad that I can no longer come to this restaurant! Drinks and salads were served and tasted fine. The issues began with our entrees. My husband's was fine and he said tasted good. Our daughter was served the wrong steak, and so she sent it back. The server didn't check on our meals, and my steak was overcooked.I wanted to send mine back, but by that time I had eaten almost the rest of my food. The server came back and told me my new steak would take a long time because they "were still frozen". No update was given about the other meal. I said I didn't want to wait on a frozen steak, and there was no offer to substitute with something else. We waited at least 30 minutes longer with no update on our daughter's meal. She has only eaten salad at this point. There was no apology given, no offer to substitute, and a manager never approached our table the entire visit. So many issues could have been avoided with simple communication and a desire to take care of us as the customer. Was passing through this town ask someone at gas station where to get a cheeseburger and was told to go here. Walked in very dirty place if weren't so hungry at the time would not of ordered. However decided to order to Go. Ordered 2 cheese burgers and 2 orders of sweetpotatoe fries. Paid for order and left. Don't waste your time or money here!! Cheeseburgers were overdone and dry, and well my order of sweetpotatoe fries was a total of 7 fries!! Wow and the order was not cheap either .
