I'm not one to talk about a local business in a negative manner or cause trouble, but I was highly disappointed with my first visit here. I spent almost $40 just for myself so I could try things and get a feel for this restaurant. I ordered some ramen, fried rice, and "fried spider" which is supposed to be fried crab. I'll start with the fried spider. Not only was it extremely chewy, it also tasted nothing like crab. Hardly any actual meat. It was also very flavorless overall. I couldn't even finish it. Next, the fried rice. Honestly it was okay. Nothing special by any means. No veggies (like peas or carrots) and kinda bland. Lastly I'm going to talk about the ramen. I was really disappointed because some of the ingredients inside of this ramen were actually really good, and some of the ingredients were just not good at all. The meat was good just a bit sweet for my taste. The noodles and broth were perfect. The soy egg was OK. The mushrooms and scallions were good. But there were some white vegetable like pieces that were oddly flavored. The nori was also odd. I speak from my own experience with other ramen restaurants around the Nashville area. Paying almost $20 for this bowl wasn't worth it in my opinion. I truly love to support local businesses, but I was really disappointed in my first visit here especially after reading all of the really...
Read morePaid an extra 4% charge for some unexplained reason when I ordered online. So I thought maybe I could use the drive-thru to get my order and not have to get out. But there was another customer in the drive-thru that had not ordered online but ordered the food at the window. Of course this is not "fast food" and after 5 mins I had to go inside anyway. Maybe if there was not wait for the food. The 4% would have been worth it? But the online ordering is useless and you can save the 4% at the store that you will have to go in to anyway. Then the fried rice was close to 4 dollars for a small styrofoam cup. And the noodles were close to 5 dollars for a small folding styrofoam tray, the size you put a small burger in. Nothing to rave about as far a quality. So the price was high to start with + the 4% mystery charge and the the quantity was small. And no one at the store was willing or had time to explain to me my concerns. I was pressed to give them 2 Stars. I live in Greenbrier and I want the businesses here to be successful. I Hate to report this low review. But they need to drop the 4% ASAP unless they can justify the...
Read moreThis was our second time eating here. This experience was one of the worst I have had. Understanding it was Valentine’s Day, but there was only one waitress. We were there for 2 hours with only 10 minutes of that time eating. The rest was waiting on food. The dinning room was busy, with several guests leaving after waiting just for drinks with no luck after 15-20 minutes of no contact. For It to be a day expected to be busy, there was a true lack of attention to anyone eating in the dinning room. We witnessed the drive thru being the priority as we watched cars come and go. However we did see some people park and walk in after waiting in the drive thru for a while.
It will be a long time, if ever to come back and try to eat here again. I know a lot of places need more staff and help, but on busy days like today, a decision should be made to accommodate and make things easier. Either close the dinning room, or close the drive thru to help direct more help to a single space. Online orders and phone pickups were also take priority over dinning room guests which was...
