First and only visit to the whitnall beer garden, but I will definitely go back if I have the chance. First, in case you're thinking of going in 2022, please be aware that they are closed early for the season in order to do some construction of more parking spaces among perhaps other improvements, not exactly sure. The important point is that it's no longer open in 2022. :-( The good news is that it will probably be back better than ever. It's a great area of the park. In addition to the pavilion at the beer garden, the immediate area has a large " green" area with picnic tables to enjoy either sun or shade (enough trees to share). There is a kids playground. Enough room for dogs to enjoy some space. We (and a couple other groups) set up and played Cornhole. We also brought out own grill for cooking dinner. We visited on a Sunday in late August and there was free live music from about three to six pm. On this night it was classic rock style. Very enjoyable. The beer selection was good. All in all very recommended - as was evidenced by the amount of people and cars. Enjoy!

Unexpected find! Gotta love Milwaukee! Nice park, good beer in a family friendly environment.

First time to this Beer Garden. Not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of places to sit, eat, and play. The beer selection and quality was very good. There was a wine vendor there, but no Sangria in the line up. The food provided by "Gift of Wings" was not very good. I realize that it's difficult to provide fresh tasting food at a park, but even this could have been better. The cheese curds were very good. The other items, tater tots, chicken tenders, and hamburger were not. Tater tots needed to be cooked more. The hamburger was dry. They have a ice cream cart, but they were all out. Next time we might stop and Culvers and come here for the drinks.

We were honestly really impressed with all the safety measures taken, from the brick system to indicate which tables had been cleaned, to the spacing out of the tables. Everyone at the bar was wearing a mask and most were wearing gloves. Nearly nobody in line, however, was wearing a mask, and people were not respecting the "one person at time" bathroom rule, clearly posted. Additionally, Only ONE staff member at Gift of Wings was wearing a mask. Two others had masks, but they were under their chins (?), and one member didn't have one visible. That was really disappointing. Getting beer and sitting at a table, however, felt...
