I live 1 mile from this McDonald's, and my daughter loves it, but they NEVER EVER FAIL to screw my order up!!! I just got a Big Breakfast, looked in the bag, and no pancakes. This is not a 1 time event either. Just the other day, I got the same thing, and a sausage egg and cheese, and an Iced Coffee with cream. That's what I ordered at least. What I got was, a Bacon Egg and Cheese, an Iced Coffee, with NO cream, and a Big Breakfast without the eggs, and for some dumb reason, I didn't check til I got home, except for the coffee, which I noticed right off. Anywho, I took it all the way back, told them about the mistake, and The Manager was nice about it, but didn't bother to refund my money for having to make 2 trips etc... And the worst part about the return was this girl put receipt in the trash, and than asked if I wanted it, after she uncrumpled it, and tris handing it to me. I obviously said "no, not since it was put in the waste container". She rolled her eyes, and said "fine", and proceeded to take someone else's order, without washing her hands. Now here's the kicker. Three seconds later, the manager came back and asked "Dirty Hand Girl" if I had gotten my receipt back, so she then decided to lie directly to The Manager's face, saying, "I asked him if he wanted it, and he said no". Obviously, that bald faced lie stopped me in my tracks! I said, "you little liar you", and just stomped out before I lost my marbles, and caused a scene, because I'm not one to just let things like that go, but I did. I decided to give this place one more chance today, in order to not have to drive to the other side of town, but that's it. It's almost a guarantee that they will ruin my day, by not getting a simple order correct. Now, if anyone happens to bother reading this far down, there's more I'd like to add. I work for a company where I make sauces for McDonald's, and other similar companies, and McDonald's has, hands down, the most stringent quality standards of any other company I make sauces for, and they're not ashamed to admit it. I think it's absolutely wonderful that they are like this, and it assures me as a consumer, that McDonald's is the very best at making sure the consumer gets the best for their money. I would think that kind of strict policy might trickle down to the very people that serve the public, but at this particular McDonald's. It definitely does...
Read moreVisited the McDonald’s on Philadelphia Avenue in Chambersburg, PA on June 5th at 12:32 PM. I ordered Happy Meals for my daughters specifically because the store was advertising Squishmallow toys. Instead, we were given Captain America toys for boys without any notice.
When I called the store around 5:30 PM to speak with the manager, she was completely dismissive, told me “that’s all we have,” and refused to issue a refund — despite the false advertising and the fact that no one informed me the toys were unavailable.
This was a disappointing experience, especially as a parent with kids who were excited for what was promised. I’ve already filed a complaint with customer service (Case Number: 32986679), and I’m hoping this review reaches someone who takes customer service and ethical practices seriously. why have it displayed on the screen if you don’t have it? the cashier knew it was girls in the car.Not acceptable behavior from a manager or from a brand that markets...
Read moreMind-blowing how terrible this was. The drive thru line was super long so I elected to go inside to order two iced mochas and a sandwich. The restaurant was fairly busy but not a single employee was behaving with any sense of urgency whatsoever. There were even 2 who were simply just standing at the counter doing nothing? Waiting to clock in? I got my sandwich fairly quickly and then the waiting began. I watched as slow moving staff served drinks to other customers who had ordered after me. Trying to be patient I waited 20 minutes when I finally peeked over the counter to see that my drinks were not even on the screen indicating to the staff that they needed to be made. A manager asked if they could help me and I explained I was still waiting on coffees. With, once again, absolutely no sense of urgency and not even a apology for forgetting about my drinks she slowly got the mochas. Handed them to me non-apologetically and I finally left after...
