El Azteca Mexican Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Greeneville

The worst service I’ve ever experienced! We sat there for 10 minutes before anyone even came to our table for chips or to take our drink order then waited 20 more minutes to place our food order. Our drinks sat on the table empty 90% of the time. The wasn’t very busy. Our waitress was just ignoring us. She was constantly at the tables around us making sure they had plenty to drink and refill of chips. When we asked for a refill on our drinks she rolled her eyes then took her another 10 minutes before getting us a refill. Than when the food came out it was just lettuce with 2 bites of meat (chicken taco salads for both). We then had been there for a hour just waiting for our food. Our drinks was empty again an we had to ask another waitress to fill them up. We asked our waitress for our check and she rolled her eyes again than just “tossed” the check on the table 10 minutes later than walked away didn’t say anything.

I ran in for a carry-out to take to work and it was busy but they brought my food out to me at my car. I didn't get to eat for a couple hours and realized my cheese dip was not in the bag so I called and was told no problem anytime I can come to get it just come on. Well on my way to work the next day I ran by and ordered the same thing as day before and after they replaced my cheese dip he refused to let me pay for my dinner and again brought it out to me at the car where I was on my phone waiting, they were super nice about it all and to not let me pay for the food that was wonderful the day before, was letting me know they appreciate my business. Young man was by the front with a tootsie pop in his mouth. Talked to man at front, then seated us. Previous customer signed bill was on the floor. I told him. Had to ask 3 times for silverware. All male employees were hanging around the front leaning on the counter. I asked what happened to the music? Server said oh and had someone turn it on. The salsa was full of big chunks of tomato and wouldn’t come out of the container. No guacamole on my meal as noted on the menu. Upon leaving employee males were all seated at a front booth. They looked bored and not wanting to be there. I brought family here because our first visit was great. I was very embarrassed this visit was very poor. Not sure I will return.
