I took my family of four to this establishment for dinner last Saturday. My kids were bored, and I didn’t feel like cooking. I loaded up the kids and we came over to eat. It was not busy when we arrived. I sit down and a waitress comes to our table and takes our drink order. She brings us our drinks, and we don’t see her again after that. no one came to take our order. Nobody came to refill our drinks. Nothing. I had to get the help of a waitress who wasn’t even our waitress. She brought our waitress to our table and she took our order. Someone else brought us our food. I had to stop the waitress to get refills on our drinks. Then we sat for another hour and a half and we never got a check. I had to find another waitress to get our bill. Our waitress was completely MIA the entire time. We watched her take everyone else’s table and totally neglect us. We will not be back again unfortunately, between alcohol, appetizers, kids, drinks and entrĆ©es. We spent close to $100 and that’s a lot to spend on one meal!!! I don’t like to complain unless I have to You can see that my Google reviews are limited. Being a person who is self-employed, I try very hard to support as many local businesses as I can. I understand how hard it can be to run your own business so I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I don’t think we will be back because I don’t want to take the chance of having the same waitress again. We were there for almost 3 hours and the majority of it, we sat aggravated because we were hungry or needed refills or couldn’t eat our food because we didn’t have...

2024.02. Updating again, as they have now transitioned from craft brewery to the hoity-toity realm of "full service brewery and restaurant". Now wait to be seated. We're out. No longer what we look for. We just want great beer and a quiet place to chat. Not Applebee's. Updating to four stars after returning more recently and being offered flights and samples by someone who at least knew the prices (though at the time they were still not advertised.) Originally three stars due to: Giving benefit of doubt after sleeping on it and considering others' reviews. Wonderful location - great space. Our bartender apparently needed a nap though, and was less than helpful at that moment. No flights or 5oz sizes when requested, but the short "order a pint and guzzle it" vibe. Most damagingly though, they've made what we consider a cardinal retail sin, and contrary to the posted photos on Maps, on this day they did not publish prices or sizes of draft beers, and the bartender didn't know. Prices were not on the board or any paperwork on the bar. At some point Outerbelt chose to remove this information from the customers, and only the cash register knew. When asked if the prices could be rattled off, we were told "Between $4-8, I'll tell you when I ring it up." Not even the sizes would be revealed (10, 12, 16oz, etc.) Just beer names; pick one. We can't work with that, and left without...

While the beers at Outerbelt Brewing & Taproom were quite good, I have to say that I was disappointed with the food. The quality of the food didn't quite match up to the standards I had come to expect from a craft brewery.

The appetizer I ordered was bland and cold, and the entrees were underwhelming. The sandwich I ordered was dry and lacked flavor. The dill pickle pizza was similarly lackluster. The house pickles were used as toppings which I did not find enjoyable. They only tasted like vinegar to me.

On the positive side, the atmosphere of the taproom was pleasant and the staff were friendly. I also appreciated the wide selection of beers on tap, which were well-crafted and enjoyable to drink. The bar seemed to be understaffed, especially for a Friday night. They had a small selection of board games to play at your table for free, and a few other games such as pool and ski ball. Being so close to a competing experience such as Pins mechanical co, I would recommend making the games free to encourage more use. I only saw 2 other tables try any of these games.

Overall, while Outerbelt Brewing & Taproom was an enjoyable experience, I can't say that the food was a highlight. If you're looking for a great beer selection and a chill atmosphere, this brewery is worth checking out. But if you're looking for a place with top-notch food to pair with your drinks, you might want to...

Wow. Without exaggerating, probably the best beer/brewery in Ohio and the food was also on point. The cheese curds are Wisconsin style meaning thinly beer-battered and cooked to perfection and delicious šŸ˜‹ Had to try the Dill Pickle pizza/flatbread which was great and would definitely order again, it was a great combination of flavors. The Jalapeno Porkavo Sub was simply out of this world. The pork was perfectly marinated and the flavors of the sub all belonged there.... I'll have dreams about that sandwich. What a great find, and we'll definitely be coming back!

It’s a nice roomy brewery. Lots of bigger table, bar seating and outdoor seating too. We tried the pizza and cheese curds. They were both good. The pineapple sangria was very tasty. The Homestead Snake Oil didn’t taste quite the same as it used to. But we would definitely come back again. They have loads of games and kids menu so they are kid friendly. Kitchen closes one hour before closing time. We have a lot more beer we would like to try! They have a nice large parking area so plenty of parking.
