I ordered a ham and cheese sub and asked specifically to put the oil and tomatoes separately. I told the girl there that I wasnât eating it for 4 hours cuz it was for work and I did not want a soggy bun. Well when I opened it, the bread was soggy. I called next day and tried to talk to manager which wasnât in. I had talked with another woman and couldnât hear me right so she put the younger girl on the phone. I told her that she had mad my sub soggy and that isnât what I asked for. She never asked me what can I do to make this up to me. She just kept saying it was made how I wanted. Well if it was, my bread should not be soggy. The manager called me the following week and was very rude on the phone to me. He made it personal and not business like. He said you were talking to my mom and my sister. And how it sounded in his voice was very rude. Instead of taking care of his customers he scolds the customers when the cold coast people when they do wrong he sticks up for them. I did no wrong to his mother except I repeated myself cuz she could not hear me and his sister kept saying it was made to my order over and over instead of trying to make me a happy customer. He kept saying it could be the mayo. I told him I bought so many subs and the mayo doesnât make it soggy. It was either oil or water. This manager doesnât agree that customers are always right! Why wouldnt I call if something is bad. In the end, the manager did not take care of me and treated me bad. I will no longer go to this place. They are not very professional.
Update on your return conversation. No it wasnât to my order. I specifically said I did not want a soggy bun and what did I get? A soggy bun. And actually you were rude to me on the phone when you called me. You could of asked me if I would like you to make me another sandwich to my liking. Obviously you arenât out to make your customers happy. And for the other reviews itâs none of your business since you werenât there and didnât know what I received. I think you should be just concerned about your business. I should get what I pay for with you and other restaurants. So is it ok to have a soggy bun or missing items on my sub or giving me ends of tomatoes with holes in it all the time. Would you as a person like to get this as a customer. I donât think so! People like yourself donât care what you give to or treat your customers. And obviously you donât want to keep them! And when I said I had a good job, meaning Iâm not out for free food and not a scammer! Why do you STALK your customers in what they do? Not everyone is going to like your subs, so get over it! And if you want to keep your other customers, I would advise not to argue with them on your review page. It doesnât look good for your business. Next time, just make a new sandwich for your customers. And you CAN NOT record someone on the phone without them knowing! And if you watched and listen to the recordings and video; I said I donât want a soggy bun! And thatâs what I got. I ordered subs with mayo on from other places and always took them to work and they werenât soggy from mayo. Why do you think there are reviews? To make your business better. Or to comment how good it is. Thank you for your cooperation. ...
Read moreWhen I stop by, I usually get the King Creole sandwich. I've been ordering this sandwich for five years now. This is my favorite sandwich. Today, I order it and it seemed as if they dumped a whole bunch of salt on my sandwich. I didn't know that they even put salt on their sandwiches- and if they do, shouldn't it be by request? I've made it all the way back home and can't do anything about it now. Got to throw away a $9 sandwich. What a waste. Very disappointing.

For the record, I have given a positive rating (5.0) for your establishment. It was about 3 years ago. However, I did notice that when I wrote my current review, Google kept bringing up my previous review. I had no choice but to overwrite it. Also, I was charged $9.67 for my 6 inch sub. I didn't get a recipe (I wasn't asked if I wanted one), but it is on my bank statement. One of the reasons why I didn't call the store is because I don't live close to the area, and sometimes (because of the distance), customers would just choose to just "choke it up as a loss" and try again another time. But in this situation, I do agree that I should have called because when I met you a few months ago, we talked for a while and I impressed with your approach towards entrepreneurship and your willingness to make sure your customers are treated fairly. So my bad on that on! đ Lastly, the seafood in the sandwich wasn't salty, it was the seasonings in the oil, mixed in with the lettuce that was salty that day. Like I said before, I've never experienced this before and I probably let my emotions get the best of me because I was hungry, and my expectations was not met. I will change my rating back to a 5.0 because you guys are usually constant. When I am back in the area, I promise to come visit with you!
Again, thanks for...
Read moreMy second time coming here and it was average at best. They skimp on the meat in their subs that's for sure. I could barely make out the salami in the "Gourmet" sub. The seasoning isn't superb either. Two 6 inch subs cost nearly $15; you would expect to receive bigger portions for this much money. Extremely overpriced. Wait time was very short which was nice.
If you want an excellent sandwich similar to these but much higher quality and reasonably priced, go to Suburpia on Layton. You could literally get 2 subs there with DOUBLE meat on both for less than what you pay at Gold coast. And you don't even need double meat at suburpia, the sandwiches feel packed as they are. Night and day difference. Will only be going there...
