This has beenmy favorite place to get a gyro since I moved near the area in 2016. The older gentleman/owner that used to be there was the best. Ran a fantastic place, always pristine, food always on point, great service. There are a few reviews if you scroll down about the bald gentleman working the phone/front. He will absolutely swindle you. I ordered two single cheeseburgers for my kids, 2 regular gyros, an order of Mac and cheese and a small salad. He told me there was a special on the salad if I wanted a large. I asked if it was the same price as the small, he said yes there’s a special. Then asked me if I wanted a large Mac and cheese and that it was on special. The large mac and cheese is $5.99 on the menu and he charged me $18 as a “custom order”. He also made and charged for double cheeseburgers and full menu price for the Greek salad. Didn’t give me a total over the phone and charged me $78 for what should have been $53.92 plus tax about $60.98. In other words charged me 30% more than what I owed. As a courtesy I called to discuss this with them directly immediately upon returning home to no avail as it was met with nothing but arguing. Unfortunate that this is the new approach. What wonderful place! I’ve been hearing about this hidden gem for a long time and finally was able to stop by and eat lunch . The people are extremely friendly and welcoming and go out of the way to make sure that you are enjoying your food and everything is perfect and just the way you want. I didn’t have a lot of time to try many different things, but the Gyro was phenomenal, as were the grape leaves (dolmathes). The only place that even comes close to the quality of the Gyro is old Sebastian’s or the Greek festival. Be prepared to be full with the large! In terms of the atmosphere I suppose there could be a couple things that would make the interior a bit “nicer”, but honestly none of that mattered. This is a family place, and when you walk in the door, you become part of the family. It’s all about the food and making sure you’re happy which is 100% accomplished! Came to get food and it was a plus because they were open during the snow front we just got. Ordered a chicken sub and was given a chicken Philly. Called and told the workers, he said ok I will fix for you I said I will bring the sandwich you gave me he said no keep. I get down there and he had the audacity to have tomato’s and lettuce in a small to go box! So unprofessional and was misleading! I was like man that’s not what I wanted the sandwich you gave me wasn’t what I ordered at all and now you want to play with me and instead of remaking my sandwich the right way you throw some lettuce and tomato’s in a to go box and that’s it?!!!
