Boss Hog's Bar-B-Que — Restaurant in Greensboro

I try to patron local and minority owned businesses when I travel. I'm sad to say during my visit to the International Civil Rights Museum in Greensboro, which was informative and awesome. This local eating spot was not. I gave it a one based on the allure of the menu items online. First off, why have a menu posted if you some how ran out of a number of things on your menu. Second, the wait for the food is seriously long. The people that were waiting I'm sure know the routine. Last and the final straw to the whole encounter. Despite all of the other red flags, I was still wanting to try it out until I was informed that they only accepted cash. Be honest, is it me or most people these days don't walk around with cash for all of their monetary exchanges. Boss Hog has been around for years and I haven't had this place in about 5 years. I can say that the chicken is still seasoned well BUT that's the only thing that's seasoned. The Mac and cheese was dry and had a bunch of noodles and not much cheese. The greensbeans were the same and needed some extra seasonings and flavor. They gave an extra piece of chicken (little drumstick) I was excited at first glance but took a bite and noticed it was older than the rest of the chicken. I had to wait 20 minutes for food that was already prepared and lacked flavor. Took a break from the Junior Olympics in between events! I googled restaurants near me, no one in the vehicle had no clue where we were going! The name itself sold me and being originally from Alabama the restaurant just happen to be on Bessemer Avenue (Bessemer Alabama near Birmingham) I made an EXECUTIVE DECISION! OMG what a decision, do not sleep on this place! The staff was super duper FRIENDLY, the menu and prices were GREAT!!!
