Just tried this restaurant out for the first time tonight. Had always heard about it and my family members have been going here for years. Really glad we were able to check this local spot out. We were definitely craving some Italian cuisine and wanted a more local vibe instead of an Olive Garden or chain. To begin with , I do have to start with some negative so that the business can hopefully correct in the future. I like to think of as constructive criticism cause I really did enjoy this restaurant and I know it can be better. So that being said when we first arrived I do think the hostess today was either a little new or just a little overwhelmed, as it was a little busy. Was her attitude the greatest well no it wasn’t but I’m guessing she just wasn’t having a great day. It is what it is, just maybe next time try and have pep talk or motivational speech if you see a staff member getting a little overwhelmed as they’re negative aura rubs off. Luckily I am quick to let bygones be bygones. And we get seated in less than 5 min which was awesome for a Saturday night. Next our waitress was super friendly, just seemed like she was either super busy/overwhelmed/ or just new as it took her a while to even make her presence known/ take our order / bring us our drinks. So , enough of the constructive criticism. But on the positive she did have a great attitude and whatever we needed she would make it happen, and the service really started to improve later on. So on a positive note, whom I believe was the front of the house manager, he was super friendly and checked up on us multiple times throughout our dine in. Super a+ on his part and really respect his professionalism and willingness to make our dining experience nice. Now let’s move on to the food, well it was very very delicious. We were all craving some good Italian food and this place did not disappoint. The lasagne was awesome and very flavorful and on point. We also got a side order of meatballs that happen to been some of my new favorites among other restaurants now. The meatballs were seasoned very well and you could tell they were made fresh. The spaghetti was also very delicious. And the house salad, even though most people are iffy to diced up lettuce, I prefer my salad like this so I thought it was bangin good but that’s just my opinion. I thought the prices for these dishes were very fair, it’s nothing outrageous and it’s on par price wise with other Italian /Greek restaurants in the area. This location just happens to taste better than most of the other Italian restaurants in the triad in my opinion when it comes to the spaghetti, lasagne and meatballs. We will definitely be coming back here again to try some other dishes. So overall we were very happy with our dine...

My wife and I met our son and his girlfriend here for a Saturday night dinner. Having read the reviews, and also being fans of both Greek & Italian food, we arrived with high hopes. The server was competent but not very friendly or helpful. The cheese fries appetizer was quite good; the Greek sampler was fair. The house salad is shredded lettuce with a couple of cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices;the house Italian dressing is a nice, mild Italian vinaigrette. Our entrées were okay but nothing fantastic. The cheese ravioli was probably the best choice. My marinated chicken breast was well cooked, but both its plating and rice pilaf left a lot to be desired. For what you pay to eat out, things should be a bit better overall. The house red wine (they also have a white) was a good value, and the half carafe was a fitting size for two people. A waiting line formed around 6 pm, so you may have to wait a while if you...

This is the best restaurant in the city! Yes, this is a bold statement, but I have been dining here every week since 1992 and I’ve never had a bad meal, ever. When you dine at the Pavilion restaurant, you’re guaranteed a fantastic experience. Homemade Greek, Italian and American dishes cooked fresh to order. My recommendations, prime rib on Friday and Saturday, Greek pork tips, Flatiron steak, Greek Style broiled chicken, Sautéed Chicken Cacciatore, Chicken Picatta, Lasagna, Spaghetti and Meatballs (the meatballs are homemade!), Chicken Parmesan, Flaming Shish Kabob, and Veal Parmesan just to name a few. Also, the homemade meat sauce will knock your socks off. The waitstaff is very professional and courteous. Try the Pavilion restaurant, you’ll become a regular diner there. For me, it’s a privilege to sit down to have a meal in...

This once great Greensboro institution has certainly lacked. Visited for the first time in a couple years and was greeted with a very great waiter who served us promptly and was excellent and his work. The food quality however has taken a dive. Ordered the fresh ravioli for $15.95 and was served a underwhelming kids meal portion of 4 ravioli. Definitely an underwhelming experience that was a disappointment. The food was alright. Not what I remember, Service was good.
