El Rancho Grande — Restaurant in Greenville

Typically I don’t leave reviews but after today I felt the need to. My order came out incorrectly, as I asked for steak and received shrimp (which costs extra). I had no issues eating the shrimp but stressed I would not be paying extra for their mistake. They told me I could get the correct order but there would be an additional fee with that. Excuse me but why is there a fee for a mistake I did not make? Better yet, most restaurants own their mistake by covering the meal free of charge. Fast forward to the end of the meal after settling for the shrimp and I receive a check for that additional price. After having to communicate through the waitress to whoever poorly runs this restaurant, I finally got the meal reduced back to the price the menu stated. I should also add that they tried to tell me the menu was incorrect and the steak was now the same price as the shrimp . Long story short, this place has no idea how to handle a mistake or properly treat customers. Although I’m a very small portion of their profit in years to come, they’ve lost my business indefinitely.

Buckle up ladies and gentlemen, this is gonna be a ride. My lovely friends and I got here around 6:00PM. We promptly ordered queso and a round of drinks once we got seated. It took around 25 arduous minutes to get our first round, when the bar had around 3 tables total. Then when ordering food, we were questioned over and over about their own menu, that they should be knowledgeable about???? THEN…. Around 20 minutes after ordering food two of the four meals came out. We were told our other two meals would be coming out shortly after. We decided to order more soul warming drinks at the time of two meals being placed in front of our drooling mouths. Three more visits to the table without more food being brought, or drinks, we decided to cancel the two missing meals. We then had three MORE visits asking us how our drinks should be made.
