The staff was nice and friendly. The cats adorable - wish I had room for more than two. UPDATE: As of Nov. 2024 they are only open for adoptions on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. And it is impossible to adopt from them. I've been trying for THREE weeks (jumping through every hoop) - is PETA running this place now? Kinda seems that way. Or do they get paid by the animal they hold? Who knows? What I do know is that whoever's in charge here doesn't seem to care about adopting the animals out these days, which explains why they can never take in new animals anymore. My wife and I were involved in a very serious car accident where I hit a semi head on. I had to I Had to be life flighted to Nashville and my wife taken to the local hospital by ambulance. We had our dogs with us. And they we're scared to death. And the local humane society came and picked our babies up and cared for them while we were in the hospital. When we went to retrieve our babies. We could tell that they had been loved on and the ladies at the place we're so amazing and they did not even allow us to pay a bill. Truly truly amazingly...
