Ethiopian Coffee / Buna — Restaurant in Greenville

I had the pleasure of visiting Ethiopian Buna for the first time about a month ago, and have visited a number of times since. Irs always an experience that highlights the importance of exceptional customer service. Sebele, the owner, greets my children and me with a warm, inviting smile and always offers chocolate treats for the kids, creating a welcoming environment that truly makes a difference. Many other reviews mention her humility- and which I, too, have witnessed.

On this most recent visit, she generously offered us tastings of her lemon iced tea, which was so delightful that it led us to buy two! The care she puts into crafting each cup of coffee and tea reflects her passion, setting Ethiopian Buna apart from nearby competitors who often overlook the personal touch.

Unfortunately, today I inadvertently lost her a customer when a blue car pulled around me and left during our conversation. I felt horrible about it, and I genuinely hope the driver returns to enjoy the wonderful experience that Ethiopian Buna offers. I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for a while now and every single time, it’s been a perfect experience. The owner, Sebele, is one of the sweetest and most genuine people I’ve met. We connected on a personal level and I always look forward to talking to her. She always remembers me and my boyfriend’s order without us even having to say a word and gives our dog a pup cup when she’s along for the ride too. The coffee is literally the best coffee I’ve ever had. Ethiopian coffee puts all other coffee to shame. My boyfriend and I had Starbucks the other day because we had a gift card and we could barely finish our drinks. Starbucks tasted like a little kid had made a “coffee” by mixing some coffee and dirt together outside. Compared to Ethiopian Buna, it was astounding how bad Starbucks tasted in comparison. Owner was very helpful, professional and friendly. First time, decided to try as I drove by. Ordered a caramel iced latte that was absolutely delicious. Flavorful and caffeine content was perfect.
