If your looking for a place with excellent customer service you may want to skip this place. On multiple occasions, even when the bar area is nearly empty as you can see from the pictures, you'll be lucky to get acknowledged. It took over an hour for anyone to give me the time of day. The worst part it was the manager that night behind the bar. When I finally was able to ask about my food I was told that "I didn't know you had anything and thought you were just sitting here ." I don't know how many people go to the restaurant to just sit there and not get food or a drink. Needless to say he went in back grabbed my to go order and said he could buy me a drink for forgetting. I declined as I had already waited for over an hour and had a to go order that I didn't want to get cold. Unfortunately, I found out when I got home my food was cold. My food had been sitting in back at the restaurant for a long time.

I will say at times you can get some good food and service from select staff, but it is very hit miss. If your up for a gamble feel free to give this place a try.

Update: 10/2020--When ordering togo take note their is a fee. In addition, the kids menu is not as listed. If you want the drink and ice cream that is included you will have to pay twice as much for the "containers" separate from the togo fee. Average food for the price. Moved to Greenville about a year ago. Been to Stone Yard probably 8 to 10 times. Usually just take out pizza, which is solid. Now that we feel more comfortable going out, we have tried new things while dining in. Tried the buffalo chicken wrap and wings last weekend. Sauce was good. Average wings for the price. Wife said wrap was ok. Again nothing special. My biggest problem was that the food didn't seem hot. Service was good though. Good old fashioneds. There again tonight for fish. Wife had perch, I had haddock. For $19 we expected a nice perch plate. Not the case. Soggy breading, small portion (3 pieces). Just not good fish. Haddock was soggy as well, and again didn't seem hot. My tater tots were under cooked. Mixed up the sides with the entre.... The place was sorta busy, but not to the point where we shouldn't see our waitress the entire time. Was looking to watch the badgers game and have some drinks. After not seeing our waitress, we finished our disappointing food and went else where for drinks and watch the rest of the game. Poor service this time around. They need to look at the quality of food vs the prices they are charging. One or the other needs to improve. I'm fine paying high prices, but then expect high quality food and service. Went tonight for my brothers birthday. Packer game on, knew it would be busy! Understandabley longer wait times. Sat at our reserved table for 15minutes. No one came. Went up to bar, stood next to a man who was waiting 15 min already. We both waited another 15 min. Couple walks into bar, walks right up to bar and is served immediately. Bartender finally waits on me, gets my drinks, tells me a server will be over to get my food order. She comes to take order, never saw her again. Someone else dropped our food off. We got no napkins or silverware. No sides or condiments we ordered, ordered wings and onion rings. Onion rings were dropped off by a different server when wings were almost gone. Still no one checked on us. Table next to us gave us 1set of silverware they had laying on their table. Rest of family showed up. No one came to get us anything else, so I went up to bar to try to get drinks. Waited 15 min. A girl walks up next to me, served immediately. That’s where I gave up. I tracked our server down to get my bill to pay and get out of there! $67 for a quesadilla and wings w/onion rings!! Gratuity automatically added! Not happy!
