Greenville, AL, just off I-65 Wednesday , November 24, 2021 On our way outta town and it was lunchtime so we decided to give this place a try. Greeted by Friendly Staff Establishment Clean / Customers NOT Required to Wear Face Masks but employees are wearing masks No Line/No Waiting at This Time Arrived/Checked In: 11:10 am Greeted & Seated: 11:10 am Received Chips & Salsa just after we were seated. Fresh chips and delicious salsa with just a hint of heat. Placed Drink Order: 11:11 am Received Drinks: 11:12 am Placed Entrée Order: 11:15 am Received Entrée Order: 11:27 am Server was friendly, helpful & knowledgeable about food being offered. Husband ordered the two Tamales in the side orders section ($2.50 each). He wasn't too hungry for lunch today but was very pleased he ordered the tamales. They were pork tamales and cooked exactly like he likes. Perfectly moist every bite. He did ask for a hot sauce for them. It was a house hot sauce and now he wishes he asked them for their recipe. I ordered the Chicken Chimichanga Lunch Special #13 with rice ($5.49). It was delicious. The chicken chimichanga was perfectly seasoned, not overly salty at all. The rice was cooked beautifully, hot and well seasoned. I'd stop here again in a heartbeat. Food arrived hot & delicious. Drinks kept filled. The next time you're in the area make a point to stop in and get a bite to eat.

Passing through and wanted to try a new place. The atmosphere as we walked in was nice and pleasant. We were greeted with friendly smiles and warm faces. We were seated and brought chips and salsa. The chips seemed to be a little burnt but not un edible. The food came out quickly and was presented nicely. The food was hot and ready. I did enjoy the food I ordered but compared to others I have eaten I found the taste to be a little bland. I left full and satisfied. I can’t say I would go out of my way to return when passing through but I feel this place was adequate for the small town it services. You should give them a try and see what you think.

Shrimp Diablo without the Spicy sauce. One of my favorite meals. I also love the Daniel's special and the vegetarian fajitas. Service can go either way. Most of the time it is great. A few times we have gone with no drink refills. We have been eating at this place since it opened many years ago. We seem to have less service if we have a group of 8+. We have been stuck in the far back corner and forgotten a time or two when in a large group. Of the two Mexican restaurants we have here, I prefer Old Mexico.

Took my kids here on a Friday night as a treat for their report cards. When we arrived no one greeted us. I had to ask an employee should we seat ourselves. We placed our order about ten minutes later. About 20 minutes later a group of abt 4 Caucasian men arrived and 10 minutes after that another Caucasian family. They placed their orders and both the group of men and family we served before we were and we ordered far ahead of them. 45 minutes into it, and we still hadn't been served. I usually don't like to make things about race or favoritism but I'd have to call it like I see it in this case...as we were the only African American family there and served last but ordered first. To top it off my four children all wanted simple meals..3 hot dogs and 1 taco kids meal. I ordered a chicken fajitas veggie plate. We waited 50 minutes total and I had to find my server to inform him of our decision to leave and eat elsewhere. The manager met me otw out and said your food was about to come out. I politely thanked him and reminded him that we only had 4 hotdogs, a taco, and one dish and there was no reason we should have waited so long. Often times people/businesses choose whom they will give there best service too and that's a sad truth. Everyone deserves the same treatment especially if they have given you no reason to perform otherwise. That was my first and last time as we are new residents...

Me and my girlfriend just left there and will never go back. We were having car trouble on the interstate and were towed to this town. We wanted to sit down a few minutes n have a bite to eat n done water with lemon. Our waitress ignored us the whole time we ate until leaving. She didn't ask to refill our drinks not once, didn't ask how the food was or if we wanted anything else. The only interaction we had besides placing our order was when she briefly walked by and placed our check down on the table. Never asked if there was anything else we needed. We felt like we weren't welcome here and our business wasn't wanted or needed. Even though the extremely poor service we left a acceptable tip just to be fair to the staff for ourselves. I didn't want to leave anything honestly because I've never never been treated in this manor at a restaurant. Everyone has a bad day, but we watched this lady interact with other customers, because of our order wasnt expensive she disregarded us. You need to talk to your staff and change this or you will definitely receive more complaints like this from us. I shouldn't be unimportant to your staff because we both drink water with lemon and had a single taco and cheese dip. Completely unprofessional and I feel like I wasted fifteen dollars on your place...
