Ambiance: Fun little place with steel plaque depicting Muhlenberg County, and steel name plates of varying size and font of different cities and towns in Muhlenberg County. They have an eclectic collection of overhead lamps that are a nice touch. There is also a roll-up door for a quasi al fresco feel.
Food: This is a brand new restaurant as of this writing, so growing pains are to be expected. My wife ordered the salmon, house chips, and steamed broccoli. I ordered the 10z ribeye (medium) and the same sides. We only had water to drink. My wife loved the salmon (and she's hard to please on salmon), liked the chips (that are thick potato chips made there), but was not as impressed with the broccoli. My steak was 3/8" thick and done slightly more than medium. My impressions of the sides were as my wife's. We both said the seasoning was way overdone and needs to be cut back somewhat. The big complaint is no restaurant should ever serve a 3/8" thick steak. You cannot regulate the doneness as you can with a 1"+ cut of meat. As with the sides, the steak was over-seasoned.
Service: Our waitress was pleasant and helpful, and seemed to be gunuinely happy. Food arrived in a normal span of time.
Other: They are awaiting their liquor or beer/wine license.
Suggestions: Cut back on the seasonings and serve a nice, thick cut of meat that is flame grilled.

Read moreCame down to visit family was excited to take my mom out to dinner. The restaurant is so appealing on the outside and have great things about it. Seated immediately but food took a long time only to be served what I got. I am in the food industry and never have I seen Brussel sprouts that looked like this. These are burned looked burned tasted burned. Told the waiter was told this is how they looked as they deep fry them than glaze them. Really? Deep fried or not burnt is burnt. My chicken was dry my mother's even worse. No one seemed to care. The best part of the meal was my soft drink.Safe to say left...
Read moreStill working out the kinks in service, so we expected a little of a wait. Cheese curds appetizer came out pretty quickly, but was very small for the price. We got out food about an hour after we ordered and it was really good. Husband had shrimp alfredo and really enjoyed it. I had the pork chop and it was good. My baked potato was very good. They were out of mac & cheese and side items are pretty limited for us, but...
