Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Grenada

Service was horrible! Every time I come in to town from traveling which isn’t often, we always have to wait or have to pull up if we’re in the drive-thru. The female manager that was on duty this evening around 3:00pm today which is 10/4/19 isn’t your ideal manager. We had to wait 30 minutes! It was literally 30 minutes for spicy chicken bc they didn’t have any available. So we opted for mild, the cashier came back to tell us that they didn’t even have mild. So we said we’d wait on it some spicy chicken because my friend was really hungry plus we had already paid. She told us it’ll be 20 mins. After 30 mins they bring our food out on a tray. We bit into a piece of the chicken and it was mild and our order was wrong. I had a four piece and one piece of it was the old chicken that had been up there before we even came in to dine. Each time I come to the counter with a problem or to exchange a piece that I didn’t order, the manager would just look and stare and not even try to assess the situation at all. It was very strange. The only good thing was the cashier because she was sweet and kept a smile. Btw: It was very few patrons in the drive thru and inside but they were out of chicken and boneless wings. This is by far the worst experience at any Popeyes I’ve ever eaten at. They just need to shut it down and fire the whole team. & you guys need to tell your employees that aprons doesn’t belong in the bathroom when they go or outside with them on smoke breaks. So...

Wanted a quick meal, so I used app for coupons. Ordered a family 10pc meal. When ordering, I was told that for spicy, I would have to wait about 20 minutes. I agreed and asked could they only give dark meat since none of our family likes breasts. I got to the window, paid, and reiterated the dark meat only and let the cashier know that I would return in 20 minutes, since it provided me time to complete my last errand. Came back to drive thru and was told to go ahead and pull up, and that they had the food ready. The meal came with 10pc signature (coupon did NOT specify anything about white or dark meat) 2 large sides, & 5 biscuits.

Since we had already discussed my preference twice before, I assumed it was correct. I live 45 minutes away. I get home and we go to eat. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED! There were FOUR BREASTS in my order when I specifically requested none. Then, there was not ONE biscuit in sight. Then to add to that, my sides were supposed to be Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes, and a regular side of red beans and rice. We got the large Mac, large red beans and rice, and regular side of mashed potatoes. The packers orderwas literally stuck on the bag and everything was correct on the tag. Ordered online go to drive thru pickup they’re out of mashed potatoes, they’re out of chicken sandwiches. Fine, changed my order to spicy tenders double fries and blackened ranch dipping sauce. What I got: a bad attitude from the employee, blackened tenders, no ranch and soggy cold fries. When I said that wasn’t what I ordered, I was told it was…that I ordered blackened tenders…NO, I ORDERED BLACKENED RANCH DIPPING SAUCE AND SPICY TENDERS. They refused to give me what I ordered. I had already wasted 20 minutes waiting for what I didn’t order, I just wanted out of there. I’ve read the reviews for this place and 90% were bad reviews. The owner responds “sorry, hope your next visit here is better”. I wouldn’t go back to this Popeye’s if it were the last one on earth. Hey owner, fix your issues, there are a lot of them and they never seem to get better. I will also be talking to corporate about the craptastic food and service that this location seems to be famous for.
