When my party of four walked into Delta Bean at 651 West Monroe St. Grenada, Mississippi for breakfast or lunch, we were the only ones there for service. While we were alone as customers, the restaurant did not have some food on the menu. One member of our party asked for pancakes. The server took down pancakes and went back to the kitchen, only to be told ā€œno pancakes.ā€ I understand restaurants do sometimes run out of food so I’m not at all disappointed. Just a few minutes earlier someone from the kitchen was standing near our party. We were told some of the items they didn’t have that morning. This becomes the type of thing where you start guessing what they might have. They didn’t have pancakes and certain fruits, disappointing a couple of my guests. The waffles were good and the fruit they did have was tasty. I read the blog comments and customers have generally enjoyed the food. My chicken salad sandwich was excellent. They didn’t have a croissant for the chicken salad as the menu indicated so I asked for sandwich bread. All in all, good food but they need to shore up food supplies.

Returned to order a To Go breakfast sandwich. Almost 45 minutes for a Bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato sandwich. The sandwich, was excellent. The coffee is really good and the help was quick to take my order and the staff is friendly, but it would be nice if something that simple didn't take almost 45 minutes to get. Great breakfast. Really nice Staff here. The Peppermint Mocha was really good! Nice way to start the day.

Soo good! I ordered the iced caramel macchiato and it was perfect! Not too sweet, with a great quality coffee flavor šŸ˜‹ also asked one of the workers if they had a cold foam to go on top and she said she could give it a try! Turned out so good! Definitely recommend! I’m not from this area but come often and will for sure be back to try other coffees and something off their food menu. Also super cute decor! šŸ˜

I have been here a few times now. It’s been all hit and miss. I like the punch card idea. I wish the prices was shown. It’s hard to determine if what I am buying is reasonable. I feel like the prices are a bit steep for the quality. They have proved that they are inconsistent. I ordered 2 of the same menu items (each for my little sisters) & they have received completely different orders. They lost our order ticket so we had to experience a longer wait. The frozen joes are not always blended well. I have gotten them chunky and some smooth. I guess it depends on who makes it. The teas are good. The iced coffees have been ok. I don’t believe it’s good value. I haven’t ordered food there but I watched another family order. The lady at the counter told them next time if they want to order all that food they should order a platter. This type info can’t be known with out it being public. It looks like they had mixed feelings about the menu. I really like the atmosphere. I’m not a fan of the employee...

This was my first visit to Delta Bean since the change in ownership. The atmosphere remains as inviting as before, with a pleasant vibe throughout. However, the experience was less than ideal when it came to food quality and preparation.

It took approximately 30 minutes for my to-go order, which included two coffees, French toast, and a burrito. The coffee was served quickly, but the iced coffee had too much syrup and not enough ice. Unfortunately, the burrito was not prepared as listed on the menu (with no customizations requested) and was excessively greasy. I ended up giving it away.

While the service was good, and the staff, including the owner, were friendly and welcoming, I was disappointed with the food quality, especially for the nearly $40 spent. I appreciated the warm greeting from the owner, contrary to some other reviews, but I’m unsure if I’ll return anytime soon.

TL;DR: Great atmosphere and friendly service, but the food quality and preparation were...
