I have eaten at ESan Thai before at other locations and LOVED it, this was my first time at this one. I have a shellfish allergy and cannot do oyster sauce, but I know the potstickers and Yakisoba and a couple others are in fact safe for me. The lady I let know about my allergy told me “this is Asian food… EVERYTHING has oyster sauce…” I proceeded to tell her the potstickers are generally safe and Yakisoba just with soy sauce, noodles and veggies. She repeated herself I am strictly down to only Tom Yum soup and that’s all. Not even grilled chicken??? When all other locations have so much variety for me and “try” for their customers. She didn’t even want to try or see how she could accommodate. They claim they are vegan friendly, keto friendly, and even some gluten free options…?
