We checked out the food carts for dinner on Tuesday and weren't disappointed! Only the sushi burrito cart was closed and there was an event going on so the place had a good energy going on.
We decided to get something from several carts and share it back at home. We picked up tacos, enchiladas, a Hawaiian mixed plate with spam musabis, the pork adobo combo from the Filipino cart and the classic poutine from the poutine cart.
It only took a few minutes to get our food from each place, the poutine took the longest, but was still less than 10 minutes.
When we got home we divided everything up and tried some of each. The tacos and the pork from the Hawaiian cart were our favorites. The pork was smoky, tender and delicious. I also enjoyed the spam musabis, but my friends weren't too keen. We also liked the lumpia and the noodles that came with the Filipino platter. We thought the enchiladas were over salted and the poutine would've been much better with cheese curds instead of mozzarella.
It was a fun experience and we'll definitely be back to try other things. Great option for a casual dinner...
Read morePerhaps someone can explain this place to me. I would give one star and I am only giving 3 stars because I am trying not to be mean to the VERY FEW carts here. I have been here 4 times over the past year and ALL 4 times were on different days of the week and at both peak lunch and peak dinner hours. Weekdays and Weekends and I have NEVER seen more than 3-4 cart open and I end up leaving. Even in the photos on Google you can see all the closed carts in the background when someone takes a picture of one that is open. Is it like a Food Cart storage area for other locations? There are about a dozen carts here but after four tries I think I have had enough of trying to see if there is a day or time that more than a few are open. Perhaps it is getting ready to close down or something? Just...
Read moreI’ve only tried one food cart so far (Kasoy & Co) but it’s my favorite place to eat in all of Gresham! The milkfish, homemade kimchi, lemongrass beef, and drunken noodles are all amazing, I highly recommend it! Plus Jenny the owner is very kind and does a lot to help the community.
Can’t wait for the covered seating area to finally be complete so there will be more space to move around. I also see a lot of comments here complaining that people weren’t wearing masks, but I’ve never experienced this and I pick up food here every other week.
As for the comment about children being in the Made From Scratch cart, that is no reason for a bad review. Schools are closed and not all working parents have the choice to let their kids...
