Billy's Gretna Cafe — Restaurant in Gretna

Wow. So disappointed! The other reviews led me to believe this would be a mom and pop dining experience. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre, rubbery eggs, gravy from a mix or can, and portion sizes that didn’t correspond to the menu. The kids menu lists a “BIG” pancake in all caps but what came out was less than 5” across. The biggest issue was how dirty the place was. Tables sticky and covered with film, needed to be scrubbed. The floor was next level filthy, black sludge everywhere (see pic). If this is the cleanliness of the publicly viewable areas, who knows what the kitchen looks like? My best friend and I have had breakfast, and lunch here several times and Abby is a wonderful server! She has fun joking around with us, the customers and she's very attentive. She always makes sure your coffee or your drink is always filled oh, and she's quick to bring your order to you, ask how your food is and if there's anything else she can get you! When we were seated, we were brought dirty coffee cups. When I mentioned it to the server, she said, "I know they are not dirty, just stained from hot chocolate, but I will get you new ones." When I told her they were not stained. I could wipe the stuff off with my finger she rolled her eyes and said yeah sorry. And when we opened our silverware I had to clean thek before we could eat.
