Coffee Kettle Café — Restaurant in Gretna

I came here to the kettle cafe to order a drink to go. I walked up to the counter where I was greeted by a man named Jesse. He asked what I would like? Before I could even answer. He told me that they were very busy and that they just had ten people walk in, and it would take twenty minutes to get a drink. I asked, even for just a cup of coffee? I'm getting it to go I told him. He said, "Wait a minute, I'll be right back." He never came back. Just in and out of the kitchen acting as if I wasn't even standing there. I would say, horrible service. But I didn't even get any service. Not even a good morning. I won't be back again not to try...

I had dinner and breakfast here. For dinner I had the spaghetti and meat sauce, it was very good. The fact that I showed up close to closing didn't diminish the mill in any way the sauce was still very good a little spicy but still very delicious. For breakfast I had the hamburger steak with scrambled eggs seasoned potatoes a muffin and blueberries. Well been here 4 times and it's a relaxing atmosphere very well put together place! Foods for most part is good somethings I didn't care for how it's made or taste but wasn't nothing wrong just opinion at that point only thing I didn't like is cottage cheese being $5 in a tiny dish when can buy a whole container for less then that other then that great...
