PepperJax Grill — Restaurant in Nebraska

Horrible location and attitude from the staff. Walked into teenage employees complaining about the amount of orders they have and how much work they have to do while making my order. Unclear who is actually in charge as no one seemed to be managing or delegating work. It was so hard to watch we almost walked out in the middle of them making our order.. and we were the only customers in the place at the time. They are clearly undertrained or too overwhelmed to do instore, pickup, and drive thru orders at the same time. Make line was disgusting and my steak bowl was made on the same surface directly after shrimp without cleaning the surface and while using the same utensils. Several employees disappearing and reappearing for whatever reason. This location is not worth the money or time. The only location that is consistent and provides excellent service is the location on 171st and Center. Save yourself the dissatisfaction and go...

I came through the drive through last night, and the worker who took the order was polite! For working a chain restaurant on a Sunday night off a busy interstate, she was tired, but polite. We said our please and thank you, we smiled, and genuinely wished each other a good night. So I have to assume this girl DID NOT make the food.

I got a chicken rice bowl, with a bunch of veggies, both salsas, and asked for A LITTLE of each ranch. Apparently I have a different definition of a little. Because the girl (yes I do know 2 other girls were cooking) DUMPED an inappropriate amount of ranch on the bowl. We scraped off what we could but it was drowning so bad it was ruined. The Philly wasn’t as bad, just careless. We asked for no mushrooms due to an allergy and there were definitely mushrooms on it. I guess next time I’ll hit up a different location, but also go inside to see that process.

Beautiful Newer Property. I was excited to finally try the place out. Unfortunately it fell flat for me. Being the first time for us, we didnt know how or what to order. The cook did make some suggestion which was helpful. None of the food was hot, except for the meat that just came off the grill. The queso, rice and beans were barely warm. The topping veggies, the rice and beans and quesos were all mixed and cross contaminated!!! The way they laddle over everything is so messy. Even with gloves on, the lady grabbing veggies used the same gloves in ALL the toppings. And wore the gloves to the register to cash us out. I really wanted to like this place, but this was the 1st and LAST time Ill be wasting my money here. Good luck and all the best to...
