I’ve been here 2 times. My first visit I ordered large the meat lovers pizza, bbq boneless wings, pizza rolls, and a large salad to go.
The salad bar has potential it has very good toppings, but I think their case is set too cold, all the ice berg lettuce was frozen to to container and ice was forming around the edges making the lettuce wilted soggy and gross. My other gripe is the ranch it’s clearly a shelf stable, out of a bottle, full of chemicals and preservatives, ranch. It’s not hard to make a good restaurant ranch and in the long run can be cheaper for restaurants!
They also offer a To go salad but no To go dressing cups? Have you ever gotten a salad Togo from anywhere with dressing already on it? When I asked the teenager working if I could have a Togo dressing cup she said no with a smirk she was trying to be funny and make the other teenager more worried about putting up party’s day decor laugh. She did eventually bring me a cup for my wilted frozen lettuce salad that I was upset I paid for.
My pizza and wings were done they handed them to me and said that they forgot the rolls and it would be 15-20 mins. My pizza wings and soggy salad just sitting there on the table getting cold waiting for my pepperoni rolls. So disappointed. When I got home the salad was gross but I already knew that. The pizza was dry there was a small amount of cheese very meh. The wings were comical like frozen Tyson anytizers burnt stuck to an aluminum pan. But those pepperoni rolls were amazing! The perfect tasty bite dripping in garlic butter my husband and I devoured them! They were so good that I decided to try them again and give them another chance.
So I went last night and just ordered pepperoni rolls and a small Togo salad. He was much nicer about the to go cup for dressing. The lettuce was a little better but still not great. I was excited to get home and eat my pizza rolls only to find they forgot to put garlic butter sauce on them!! Literally the best part!!! They were so dry and flavorless. So I spend $17 for a small wilted lettuce salad and dry pepperoni rolls ..
Uggg I want to like this place so bad! it is so close to home, but it is clearly ran by teenagers who just don’t have the life experience yet to understand customer service and restaurant industry. Hopefully after enough people complain about the lettuce they will fix it. For now I’m not sure I will return I’ve spent close to $100 there so far and only $8.99 of it has...
Read moreFirst and last time visiting this place. I had visited the Louisville location in the past so was excited to see one come to Gretna. We dined in and ordered a large pepperoni pizza along with hot buffalo wings. The pizza was depressing and resembled a Jack’s frozen pizza. The crust tasted like a cheap knockoff of Godfathers without any substance. The toppings were minimal and the sauce lacked flavor. I was hoping the wings would salvage the visit. They were absolutely disgusting. I would think wings made in the oven could have a crisp texture but the breading on these was mushy. These wings were incredibly tiny too and lacked any amount of chicken. Being drowned in wing sauce couldn’t save these things. The one positive was the young gentleman at the counter when we first walked in. He was polite & very friendly. Unfortunately a teenage girl took over and seemed bothered to be there. We stood there for a minute while she played on her phone. There’s a huge pizza selection in Omaha so no sense in wasting time on a...
Read moreMy boys and I were so excited to see a new restaurant opening. A pizzeria to boot. Unfortunately a boot is about the flavor we ended up with. We were utterly and completely disappointed in the pizza, the lack of value and the logistics of the drive thru and parking availability. The pizza was comparable to frozen discount pizza you buy in grocery stores for $4.99. The drive thru had no bell hose to alert the staff when you pull up to the window. The distance from the curb to the delivery window is so significant that I had concerns how we might receive our boxed pizza safely. The closest non-handicapp spot was halfway down the bldg. The parking design is definitely left to be desired. The staff was friendly and in learning mode so they get a pass. The pizza was cold and had very little sauce. Taste was mediocre at best. My 11 and 12 yr Olds said the school cafeteria pizza beat Gambino's hands down. It'll be a long time before you can convince us to try that place...
