Well, I am flabbergasted! Quite frankly astounded. I was treated so rudely at this establishment, I began to feel that I was in a Seinfeld episode. It was so bad, it was comical. This proprietor could put the "soup nazi" to shame. He was so incredibly insolent, I thought I was being punked. It's hardly a Michelin Star sub shop, so I'm not sure where the attitude comes from. The food is mediocre at best. And yes my chicken parmesan was burnt, which apparently is customary per the many reviews.
There's is certainly a lot of vexation on display. We can only guess where it originates from. The town is populated with rich, young, sparkling minds throughout the school season. I'm sure they keep that angry spark lit by having the audacity to patronize his establishment and serve him his comeuppance on a daily basis. Hmm, maybe that's why he's such a miserable human. Let's hope life gets better for him.
Meanwhile Groton student's, let it be a lesson to you as your order your food and listen to his grumblings; do not choose a career path that will make your life miserable. The...
Read moreStopped for a pizza at lunchtime and the place didn't appear busy. After ordering our pizza we sat down and watched the employee using his cell phone for about 5 minutes before he even grabbed the dough tray from under the table. He then spent the next few minutes going between talking to someone in the back and using his phone. After that he stretched the dough without washing his hands or wearing gloves then went back to his phone for a few more minutes.
At this point we asked him respectfully if he could focus on making the pizza and not being on his phone to which he said "I know how to make the pizza. It'll come out soon." We then mentioned how he didn't wash his hands to which he replied "The oven is 500 degrees, I don't need to wash my hands." At that point we asked him to stop making the pizza, paid the $5 for the two soda cans we...
Read moreSo disappointing, placed an order for 2 subs and was told 40 minutes. When i arrived I was told 20 more minutes. There were at least 15 to 20 people there waiting as well. 20 minutes later I was told 5 minutes. 15 minutes later I left. Its worth mentioning that the two phones were ringing off the hook while the three guys that worked there continued to answer the phone and take orders. It's no way to treat customers and people should not patron a business that has so little respect for their customers while there are so many worthy businesses...
