Old School Burgers — Restaurant in Grottoes

My boyfriend and I got lunch here a little while ago. The burgers were great! But we also got a bag of malt vinegar fries to go with them to share. The flavoring of the malt vinegar is added via a power and it's sticky and doesn't pack a good flavor. Worse yet, we found a black hair in the fries. I walked the bag back over and showed them, and they refunded us the two dollars and offered to remake the fries, which is fine and in good practice, but we were full from the burgers and kind of turned off of the idea of more fries that weren't great to begin with. One of the girls working diapered and the other was in the bus cooking, but no matter how loud I called into the door of the bus that "don't worry about it, we're just going to leave soon," nobody answered. I ended up just walking away, which isn't something I like to do. It was nice of them to offer to remake it, but being ignored isn't on my list of good...

We tried the new online ordering option and not happy with the results. Two of us followed the instructions for ordering an ‘egg burger’ that even had the ‘1/4 lb.’ listing and an option to order an ‘extra patty’. When our order was picked up we had paid for eggs on a bun! I called and they stated the egg burger had no meat. I inquired if the PB&J burger had a burger patty and the reply was ‘yes’? They were polite but insisted that their online ordering was clear. Just bring me an EGG BURGER ALREADY! No excuses, please make it right! Note: since my phone call I have noticed they have edited the egg burger choice. It now explains the 1/4 lb. refers to the weight...

Old School Burgers recently catered a day at my work. I must say the fries were outstanding. Some of the best I have ever had. However, I ordered a mushroom swiss burger and when I finally had the time to eat it between working. I noticed it had no mushrooms on it at all. So basically just a swiss cheese burger. The burger itself was still delicious, just sad that it was missing the main component of a MUSHROOM swiss burger. Apparently some of my co-workers were also given the wrong orders or missing ingredients as well. So I guess my bottom line is, the food is amazing...just make sure its right...
