I love hidden gems, and this certainly is one. Behind a set of gas pumps, in a small strip shopping center in Groveland, this little place dishes out delicious home-style Indian cooking along with subs, pizza and other Italian dishes. The owner spent three decades working in the kitchens of well-known Indian and Italian restaurants, which explains the eclectic menu. This is not a fancy place. The dining area is small with a basic sub shop feel. Ambiance is not the reason to go. The food and the owner's hospitable nature are what made for a great dining experience for my group. We started with some of the best samosas I've ever had -- scratch made by the owner's family. We then moved on to a Chicken Korma Pizza -- yes, you "heard" that right. Sometimes fusion cooking works, and sometimes it doesn't. This actually was very good -- and very rich. We ordered a large, and took more than half home for future enjoyment. We also had Saag Paneer and Chicken Vindaloo as entrees. Each came with a generous portion of good basmati rice. Both dishes were very good, and delivered to the table at the requested heat levels. The Aloo Naan was an adaptation cooked the pizza oven. While unconventional, it was large and tasty. The mango lassi was good too We're looking forward to a return visit soon.

My friend and I had the veggie korma and chicken tikka pizzas and they were super delicious. Harbinder was so thoughtful and gave us a taste of the korma masala so that we can tweak the spice level of the pizza. The chicken tikka was so tender and pizza was also so delicious. Both the pizzas were elevated by his special chili achar. The aloo tikki appetizer was also pretty big in comparison to other places.

Delicious! I've lived here for five years and always chuckled at the "Indian and Italian Fusion" which is literally in a gas station. However, I tried the food and it was so good. The curry was tasty, naan bread light and buttery and the rice flavorful. The steak and cheese sub was fairly standard but very tasty. I'm a curry snob and this was was top notch! Would definitely recommend and would go again.

This place is extraordinary. Everything I’ve ordered has been, at worst, very good; and at best, absolutely incredible. They have two sections for pizza, Indian Pizza (Chicken Curry Pizza, Tikka Masala Pizza, etc) and Italian-Style Pizza (which includes anything from pepperoni pizza to stuff like Buffalo Chicken), so I’ll cover both separately.

The Indian pizza is phenomenal, and “on a pizza” might actually be my new favorite ways to eat curry. But honestly when I went for the first time I expected their Indian pizza to be delicious — I was more curious about their “traditional” pizza, and their take on other things you’d find at a local sandwich shop like a steak and cheese, meatball sub, and onion rings. And what’s so incredible is how perfect all of those things are, too.

The onion rings are awesome, they’re smaller than usual, extra crispy, and the batter is more flavorful than a typical batter, but at their core they absolutely look and taste like onion rings. Their steak and cheese is one of the better ones that I’ve had in the area — bread is soft but has a nice bite to it and holds its integrity very well, and the beef is tender and flavorful. Order a pepperoni pizza from them, and what you’ll get is 90% a faithfully executed pepperoni pizza like you’d get from an Italian pizza place, but just a bit of their own unique take on it — the sauce uses a slightly different blend of spices, I think, and it works incredibly well.

All that to say, Pizza Grove has the best Indian pizza I’ve ever had, and — impressively — also some of the best Italian-style pizza I've found in Massachusetts. Really, really...

Wow, my wife brought me a sub yesterday she purchased from this little place tucked away in Groveland MA. I was so amazed with the freshness and taste so I inquired where she purchased it. She said I’ll take you there after work tomorrow. We arrived right at opening time in Saturday, and were greeted with a great big smile from the family. My wife said” I brought my husband with me this time”. So I ordered Samosa and chicken curry dinner. Two subs and a side, let me tell you I was simply amazed at the quality and taste of the food. I was especially amazed by the customer service and great conversation by the family. Very genuinely happy and kind. I realized that these folks are spreading love through their food. So if you desire to order out or even sit in a small pizza restaurant this is the place for you. Good pricing, great food, and more importantly amicable folks with smiles and a lot to say. It’s very hard now days to go out to grab a bite and feel really welcomed when you walk into an establishment. You will certainly feel that here. By the way, they cater parties as well. Thank you to the owners of The Pizza Grove, Groveland MA. If you Can have this effect on me, you are...
