The cheese steak over fries I usually get from here is pretty decent most times. This last time was the end all for me. Our job ordered food from here. I go to this place at least twice a month minimum. My order every time is a philly cheese steak over fries. Out of the orders that where taken mine was not input. The cashier working was poorly trained and told my co-worker they don’t a philly over fries on the menu. Being a new person instead of asking anyone she tells him that. Short story my order was left off. I call back after seeing my order was never taken and the cashier do they have a philly over fries. She tells me no. I ask her if she’s new. She says yes. I suggested for her to ask her co worker about a philly over fries. The co worker confirms that they do carry the item. At this point in time my lunch is over and she states she can fill my order now. I ask to speak to management. I told management the situation. Pretty much because of poor training and not asking questions about thing a person doesn’t know I missed my lunch. I work 10-12 hour shifts in the elements. I ask the manager can she comp my meal because her employee pretty much caused me to miss my lunch break from laziness. Hard work on a empty stomach is a horrible feeling to have. She’s says no can’t do anything mistakes happen. I simply ask her as a food industry employee customer satisfaction is garunteed correct ? Well I’m not satisfied I missed my lunch because of training your employee should have had being a cashier. The managers name was Rebecca. In my opinion she’s not management material. Rebecca didn’t know im also a owner of a local catering service. Being a owner of a food service I know that incidents like this can loose a loyal for life customer. I no longer will eat here nor give them my money. At my catering service if my cashier and manager handled the situations like this there would be two write ups. One for the cashier for not asking questions, having a attitude with customers, and poor retention of knowledge. The second would be for the manager for not properly training the cashier to insure things like this don’t happen. I will no longer give them my business. The customer service and quality combine isn’t worth it. There also in-consistent, sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s not. From now on even if I have to wait I will be getting my cheesesteaks from EL TORROS off Gateway center BLVD across from Chick-fil-A. It’s bigger cheaper and taste a lot better. I also never have any customer service complaints. Wings and phillys being a small business you all need to do better. Very disappointed with my visit. You lost a loyal family of 8 order that or comes minimum...
Read moreI hate to admit how much money my family has spent here, and how many family and friends we have recommended. I have been a consistent customer of Wings N Philly for a long time (over two years), and today that has ended. I particularly only prefer all flats when ordering wings, and call before hand to confirm that they have all flats available because I live 30 mins away. Today I followed the same routine of calling before I headed that way, and confirmed that they would have all flats. The “manager” I spoke with said they did, I then informed her that I would be calling back within 15 mins to order all flats. She did not state that they couldn’t guarantee all flats, or that I should order then and let them know to delay cooking it. When I called back to order (15 mins later) I was RUDELY informed that they are no longer doing all flats, and that there is nothing they could do to honor what I was previously informed. I was already almost there so I decided to go inside and explain the situation in person, and still they decided that I was not an important enough customer to care. I refuse to spend my money with any company that doesn’t care about it’s customers, especially the ones who were loyal to the restaurant even during COVID. I am very disappointed with this experience, and...
Read moreOne of the best places to get wings hands down in Grovetown/Augusta! While it doesn't have a "modern" appearance, they have their priorities straight with the food tasting great, and it is always fresh. They provide an ample amount of food for the cost, so you are getting your moneys worth at the end of the day. Staff is pretty friendly and able to make accommodations when necessary.
I usually get the 6 piece or 10 piece wings combo which comes with a ton of fries and a drink with 1 or 2 sauces. For the wings I recommend the honey hot cajun which is one of their "custom" flavors, or I like their standard honey hot. It is not hot at all in my opinion, and I wish they had something a bit hotter like it. For the fries, they do not season, so make sure to season them, use ketchup, use sauce, or accept that they will be bland but fresh and the right texture! For the drinks, I always get a lemonade mixed with the peach lemonade/juice which ends up being a delightful sugary wombocombo!
Now go give it a try and support this...
