Curry n Grill Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Grundy Center

Our first trip tonight certainly won't be our last! The Onion Pakora are deep fried onions dusted with spiced Gram Flour and served with a slightly tangy dipping sauce. The Maila Kabob was excellent! Tender Chicken that's been marinated in a fresh cream, cheese, ginger, garlic and other spices. The Tandoori Chicken, marinated with yogurt, ginger, garlic, and other spices was just spicy enough for Terri and I thought it was fantastic as well! The Steamed Basmathi Rice was cooked perfectly and the portion size was generous. And the Garlic Naan Bread was tops! The service was excellent even though they'd been slammed all night long! Wow — I visited Curry n Grill for lunch, and we were so pleasantly surprised! We don’t eat this type of cuisine often, so we were a bit hesitant at first, but the food completely blew us away. Everything was high quality, hot, and served in generous portions. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala (mild) and will definitely go with medium heat next time. The Garlic Naan bread is a must! The food was absolutely delicious! I’m so happy to come back in the future to try more from the menu. The samosas were absolutely perfect…loved the 2 chutneys! The butter lamb was rich and flavorful with nice chunks of meat. The naan was crispy and delish. I will most definitely make this place a routine stop! It’s definitely worth the short drive from Waterloo! So glad they are here in Grundy...
