McDonald's — Restaurant in Grundy

This was the most disorganized, poorly run, establishment that I have ever attempted to eat in. It was dirty. The staff was loud, having a very good time laughing and joking with each other, while the manager tried her best to keep things moving. I stood, ignored by the order clerk for several minutes while she tried to join conversations that were taking place on the prep line. The manager had no control and was simply someone who had additional keys and privileges. I finally thumped the base of the counter to alert the clerk to my presence - even though she looked at me a few minutes prior. I placed my order at 7:10 PM and the clerk handed me a number tent and said she would bring it to my table. I sat, ignored for thirty minutes. I finally walked back to the clerk and said, “How about you give me a refund, minus the cost of the drink I finished while I was waiting?” This seemed to alert the manager who appeared without being summoned. I told her I waited for thirty minutes and was just ready to leave. She apologized profusely and refunded my order.

This place is suffering from a lack of leadership. We should be done with the, “we can't hire anyone” excuse. Hold people accountable. Restore customer service. Foster a culture of customer first. Use some of that hamburger college training that you have - I definitely didn't see any signs of it at...

This is a very busy McDonald's to be in a small area. They are the only national burger chain in that area. I'm new to the location and would have loved to have given them a 5 ⭐ review. Why? Well let's start with the positive experiences from this mornings stop for breakfast. I see some people on Google complaining about the wait time. But I feel that's expected if a place is busy. And I'd prefer to wait longer, as long as the food is fresh. This morning I placed a slightly large order and had to pull up and wait for it. I expected that and I appreciated that all of our food was fresh. The young lady that took my order at the drive through was friendly and polite. That's good customer service. Because we ordered a lot of the items from the promo's, the food was priced very decently as well. With all of this positivity, why not a 5 ⭐ review? When I brought the food in to everybody, we were actually missing food items. So everybody else would be happy, I took the hit on this one. Stood for 15 at the front counter and employees would look at us but never came to us to take our order for it to be paid for because we had placed it on the kiosk all we had to do was pay because we was using cash. Then we finally got our drink cups and sat down at the cleanest table available that had saice smeared all over the top of it and the floor and window seal was extremely filthy I’ve never been in a McDonald’s that was that nasty then we finally get our food that had been sitting in front of the pos for drive thru near the landing zone for a good 30 minutes when we finally received our food it was nasty had burnt patty’s in it where they hadn’t scraped the grill of after each use and the meat was dry AF the mcchickens we ordered was so old it would almost break your teeth and the fry’s they were nasty soggy and cold they only thing that was worth eating there was our drinks and the cookies we ordered and not to mention a manager that was in the front of the store yelling screaming at her employees to SHUT UP so loud it echoed the store I will never...
