This has to be the worst run Wendy's I have ever gotten food from (I would say eaten at, but there's little reason to dine in anywhere when it's a "show your papers" kind of island).
There has not been a single time I have ordered at the drive-thru that they have not been out of something. It's either "we're not serving salads today", or "we're out of Asiago cheese" or whatever. There's always something. Even after you finally order after finding out what they actually DO offer (because they won't post what they're out of), they'll get your order wrong about half the time.
For some reason, the drive thru is inexplicably closed at random times with a bench and a cone blocking the lane. No notification posted. One time that this happened at about 1330 I saw people trying to walk inside to order, but they had locked the doors (there were still people standing in line inside). So bizarre.
There is no sense that anyone is at the helm here. When you go inside it's kids joking behind the counter. You can't hear a word they say because of all the plexiglass. No condiments available to take, not even napkins. Dude - we've known for a year that fomite transmission of COVID is not a thing. Let people make their own risk decisions.
If Wendy's leadership reads this - run, don't walk, to fire the manager and get someone in there who knows how to run a tight ship. This...
Read moreTried to eat here at exactly 8:50pm on Tuesday the 14th. Drive thru was closed with a sign that said “drive thru closed, lobby open.” So, I parked and walked to the lobby to find the doors locked but people were inside eating and ordering at the front. I knocked on the door several times, but nobody wanted to open the door. I called the restaurant to which a female answered. I asked why the lobby was closed and she said because they closed at 9. At this time it was 8:55, and on Google and on their window it states that they do not close until 10pm. After explaining this to her, she said she did not care and hung up on me. Needless to say this was a horrible customer...
Read moreYesterday I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich at the drive thru window. When I went to pick up the order, the lady at the last window accused me of not paying for my meal. First mistake
Second mistake: After biting into my sandwich, I realized that the center of the chicken was rubber. It was undercooked. I walk into the Wendy's and speak to the manager about this grave error.
First they accuse me of not paying, then they serve me an undercooked chicken sandwich.
The manager refunded the amount I paid after showing them my RECEIPT and made me a new sandwich herself.
Undercooked chicken can...
