The Owner Stacey puts lots of love and energy into decorating her donuts and tries very hard to accommodate the likes/wants of our small community from old fashioned donuts, fruit filled and cream donuts. The effort Sandy(her mom) puts into making, plating and presentation of the daily foods offered on the menu along with their daily specials is above and beyond just slapping food on a plate and serving it. The environment is one of warmth, openness and friendliness.

Whether you are a local or passerby looking for a little something different for sit down lunch, business meeting or just a quick donut stop; Highlander Restaurant won’t disappoint. It should be noted that although the Highlander Restaurant does not offer 21+ beverages on the menu they are able to provide Adult Beverages from the attached Kelley’s Bar so there’s that 😁

I almost forgot the Highlander Restaurant also offers locally handmade quality coffee cups along with a showcase of beautiful painted artwork by local female artists available for purchase as well.

It was the best food I have had. In this town, in a long time The atmosphere and the service was awesome. The people there are so nice and I had one of their specials one time, and It was a taco and a burrito, and it was so delicious. I devoured it in less than 10 minutes. And I love their green chili.
