Waffle House — Restaurant in Gulfport

I just had the worst Waffle House experience I’ve ever had in my life. After we walked in and got seated, we noticed there was a man at the jukebox about to play some music. But there was another radio playing from a small speaker on the counter behind the grill line. Once the jukebox started playing there were two radios playing at the same time and it was very annoying. I got up out of my seat and asked the young African-American girl if they could alleviate one of the radios playing. She didn’t say a word to me, but gave me a dirty look, rolled her eyes and walked away. It was apparently her speaker that was playing she stopped the music and proceeded to stay in there playing on her phone so I walked over and told a man on the grill line about how she rolled her eyes in me and he didn’t say a word but did they staring at me and didn’t say anything at all. When we got our food, the young caucasian boy proceeded to sit at our table while going over the menu items with us. I ordered a steak dinner and the steak was so salty and had so much black pepper on it. I could hardly eat it, but I was starving so I choked it down. It had so much fat in the steak there was hardly any meat. It was mostly fat. The server brought me a bottle of A1 sauce that was so empty. I turned the bottle upside down when he got to the table and not a drop came out. The African-American waitress that rolled her eyes at me, kept answering the phone and arguing with someone so loud that it disrupted our entire meal. It was just a bad experience overall. As we were getting in the car which was parked right in front of the doors I looked up and the young lady threw her head back laughing, and then waved her arm as if shewing a fly away several times . But I think the worst part about the experience was when we got to the register to pay and two servers, a white and black girl and the young man that was our server we’re standing in front of the register having a conversation and he couldn’t even be bothered to tell me thank you or give us any attention. He just continued his conversation with the two young ladies and they were talking so loud that I couldn’t even speak if I wanted to say anything at all I normally tip pretty well, but I only left a dollar because if you can’t be bothered to stop your conversation long enough to thank your customer then you shouldn’t get any tip at all, but I don’t believe in Not tipping even a dollar because he did bring our food to us I do not recommend this waffle house at all! Well my friend & I came in for a bite to eat this morning & were greeted by everyone. It’s was nice. Food was great too. Only problem we had was our waitress. She seemed nice to us but she kept talking bad about another waitress working there to other customers. Very unprofessional might I add. Then she kept antagonizing the poor girl & screaming at her. She kept getting in the girls face & yelling at her for no reason. She even followed her to the back & was criticizing everything the girl did until the girl got fed up with her mess I’m guessing & told her to stop talking to her & the old lady kept jumping at the younger girl. Management did NOTHING!! This is an old lady we’re talking about! I was outraged & felt so bad for that sweet girl. We were going to tip the young lady but she had already left. Get better management & people working at this place because no one should be yelling at anybody especially when customers are present. I’m shocked they didn’t fire...

First time at this location while spending the weekend in Biloxi. Was greeted with welcoming smiles and greetings as we sat. Service was great food was really good. Watched a guy from the kitchen interact with some kids that came in to celebrate a football game win. I believe his name was Donald or Donnie don't remember. It brought a smile to my face seeing how this establishment treated regulars and newcomers as family. You don't find that often in a chain restaurant establishment. This will definitely be our new stop when in the area. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to eat. We were also thanked by the whole staff and to come again when leaving to head out for the day. Could only give 5 stars but would definitely give 10 for...
