The Dam Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Guttenberg

I am not generally one to post bad things... and I am sure you can look that up to see... but this one is a.. Rest assured of a.. "one and done" here. When ordering our beverages and the "bartender" basically rolls his eyes as your wife ordered a pop... should have exited stage left. The mediocre food was hands down the best part. Stopped because it was "somewhere we had never been" in our celebration day for Mom and Dad's would be 67th anniversary today. Vulgar music BLARING so you couldn't hear yourself think, or have a conversation...or even hear the waitress as she is asking a question.. which would be why the only 2 people inside were practically shouting their conversation sitting next to each other at the corner of the bar. Appetizers were hot and plenty of food, good dipping sauces, the burger and fries were edible. I know.... it is a bar.. but we now understand why the only other people there, were sitting outside (and even they asked for the volume to be turned down) as we were working on enjoying our meal, a "discussion" starts at that corner of the bar.. vulgar language, heated exchanges, and neither would let anything go.. as the "bartender" was listening and watching smiling about what is happening... as we try to finish up and get out bill before this gets worse, we hear "these guys are the feds" as he approached our table, and was loud and boisterous as he was asked repeatedly to leave us alone.. by us..not anyone working there.... that didn't happen. Thankfully we had received our bill, so we were able to throw that and the cash on the bar and FINALLY "exit stage left" I chose the place because I had heard many good things.....sadly..... not...

Food was decent, lady who served us acted like we were a complete inconvenience and was very brusk , can't say for sure but I was wearing a Trump shirt seemed like she was offended by that because she kept staring at me from behind the bar and quietly talking to the other employee who was working that day and they seemed to be offended but who knows atmosphere was horrible, all employees were not friendly towards us just seemed like they wanted us to leave.Beautiful views nice old looking bar ,loved the decor ,food was decent. We believe in tipping however we felt like we shouldn't that day due to how we were treated and we believe in $10 to $20 tips!!!However we will not be going back to this place.very...

Best food best ranked I am best service not only that the people that are there are very nice and you can meet up with a lot of people my favorite part about the place is every Tuesday where they have all you can eat wings life specialty is the hot raspberry with garlic parmesan it is around 10 bucks but it's totally worth it you can also pay for your Meals by using the tickets that you get from the slot machines if you're lucky I hope you're there and I hope you enjoy that place also it's the oldest bar in the town that hasn't went down like the other places Anna has a...
