I was here yesterday for my twins pre-k graduation 06/14/24, rudest waitress I’ve ever dealt with at a restaurant. Very nasty attitude. I don’t know how this woman is the manager. Messed up orders and when we asked her to correct it, she chose to argue with you instead of fixing the order. Didn’t bring my husband his orange juice, didn’t bring my mother her mushrooms and when my mother asked for it, she told her that it was in her food and refused to give her it on the side. Didn’t bring my daughter’s fruit and when we asked her for that she said that we didn’t ask for it and didn’t bring it. She just chose to argue again. She looks of Hispanic descent and in her 20s. If you see her be prepared to argue. If I could give this zero stars I would. This is the 2nd time this has happened when I came to this place. The last time I came here for my husband’s birthday, I left a tip on the table and an additional tip was stolen from my card. I didn’t say anything because I disputed the order and had my receipt. My bank gave me the money back immediately. I’ve been in this area for 7yrs and will not be returning here. This time, after the waiter gave us so much trouble, we asked to see the manager “SURPRISE “ it was her!!! So there was no one to complain to and she basically did what she wanted. My mother in law just chose to get her money back and not eat because the waiter kept messing up her order. For the record over well sunny side up eggs are not runny regardless of how long you argue your point she didn’t care and then gave her what she thought she should have and not what she asked for. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU DON’T WANT MONEY STOLEN OFF YOUR CARD, RUDE SERVICE AND YOUR ORDER REPEATEDLY MESSED UP THAN...
Read moreIHOP needs to have a disclaimer under their slogan”Come hungry, leave happy” which reads -this is a suggested expected customer experience and not at all guaranteed. Who ever owns this franchise must not care about it. There is no way he/she would have not have an onsite-visible manager, or asst. manager making sure operations are run smoothly that their patrons are having the experience that IHOP advertises. The waiter did not hear me when I decided to change my order and instead he brought out an extra meal that I had originally cancelled. I assumed he would just take it off the bill, instead he informed me that he had called his manager and the manager informed me that he could not remove the meal because it was “my error”. This is the first time that I have had this kind of response from any restaurant. Apparently , the manager was also not on site and was called on the waiters cell phone. I asked the waiter to call the manager on his cell phone and put them in speaker and he stated that the manager told him they do not speak to customers over the telephone and suggested that I return tomorrow. This is totally laughable because I live in Pennsylvania and this Ihop is in New Jersey. the server also noted that the manager told him that that he could pack up the food for me so I could take it home! Skip this place!!! they seem very short staffed. The poor server was the only one working along with one person in the kitchen. The food took long to get to the table. It’s obvious that they need help since they have the help wanted signs posted on front door. Poor customer service turns my stomach. I will never visit here again. I arrived at 4pm on a...

UPDATE 12/29/22 Food is good, service no rushed. Still few issues: silverware lacked knives in 2 settings. I've ordered poblano omelet and server asked which side i wanted - I've replied "hash browns". My wife ordered grits, which ate now part of the menu, and they came undercooked. When omelet came....there were no hash browns.... Granted, restaurant was quite packed, despite Thursday morning, yet, i believe that more attention should be paid to the orders. Overall, i see both improvement in service, and room for improvement.
Place is not crowded - i counted one more booth taken, however service was very slow. Pictured is strawberry milkshake. It is advertised as made with real fruit....but unless someone took upon painstakingly removing all the seeds from strawberry, it is actually strawberry ice cream with strawberry flavored topping.... Kinda disappointing, i would expect truth in advertising.... When food arrived, no one on our party received any utensils....we though it was a joke - it's kinda hard eating an omelette or pancakes using straw... So after our amusement subsided, we have asked person in the kitchen for utensils... My toast was dry, and when we needed extra butter, we had to ask twice... On top of it, out check was dropped off even before we have finished our food.... I do understand that there's shortage of workers, and i wanted to support my local restaurant, but I'm having serious second thoughts about coming...
