The New House of Chin Fe — Restaurant in Hagåtña Municipality

I will be very straight forward. This place has the WORST Chinese food or even food I've ever had. I am originally from California (just visiting family) and have grown up eating Asian food and a variety of others, hence I'm a big foodie. My 17 year old sister couldn't even eat her chicken cutlet which is so simple to make and they couldn't even cook that right; it was all pink. My husband had some orange chicken and you know how you just pop those in your mouth? They all might have been pink too so we'll see. Also the chow mein?? I could hear my daughter TWO chairs away crunching on the chow mein. Literally crunching. My father had told me it was good 10 years ago so I guess the chef is new; they might want to hire a new chef because what in the world. I've never been this disgusted by food I've had in a restaurant. Everything I had was awful. I was already skeptical since the parking lot was dead at peak dinner time and the original reviews upon arriving at the restaurant and...

Advisable not to even bother dining here when you're actually hungry and during peak hours. The waitstaff were literally not on their game that Sunday morning. After placing our order I was noticing how other customers who were there before us were missing orders that they had placed and even after they had flagged the waitress on it, it still never arrived at their table. As for my experience, one dish arrived to our table and I inquired about my order and another missing one, only to find out they had run out of my item. This was more than 30 minutes after placing our orders. In defeat, I settled for plain waffles and my order was ready before they even brought out the other missing order to our table. The caring and responsive table servers were a refreshing welcome for my first in-dining lunch experience here. The Shrimp Kelaguen with corn titiyas(right amount of heat/fresh red peppers), and steamed veggies were most delicious!!! The 'tropical' cake dessert was truly moist and delectible. Though a bit on the pricey side, the staff and ambience of a modern restaurant: soft welcoming pastel walls, soft ceiling lights, very comfortable booths(new). *Oh and did I say Chamorro owned? Keep it up House of Chin Fee, you're a keeper. Please note this review was for my in-house dining experience and does not include take out orders....
