Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Haleyville

Central Time was 7:00 pm 7-10-19 in Haleyville Alabama The only reason I'm giving it a half rating is because the food is good but whoever was running the window on drive-thru and taking orders was rude . When I pulled up to order at drive through, it was taken as if from a bored child ...the greeting was

"mjack" she sounding just like I spelled it here.

I asked for 3 of the big jacks and fries for $3.99 and a chocolate shake She said "what?"then I repeated it. After quoting the amount she said "pull around" when I received my order at the window. I said thanks She rolled her eyes and said nothing.I looked at my order and there was no ketchup. I asked for it but I had already been dismissed. There were cars behind me at this point. I asked again and nothingj waited about 20 seconds waving at her and trying to get her attention "hello?... Hello?...."and she didn't even look my way. Being worried about the customers behind me I spotted the manager at the counter and spoke loud enough for her to hear me. "Can I get some ketchup please? I can get out of this window if I have some" the manager got rude girl to give me some ketchup. After handing me a wadd of packets I said "thank you" and she said nothing but huffed like a spoiled brat and loudly shut the drive through window in my face. I had just got done working a hard 11 hours in sweltering heat I was tired, Hungry,and ready for a good old Jack's burger and after this incident I couldn't even enjoy it and didn't feel...

I have never seen employees work slower and not care about speed of service than the employees here. From the time I walked into the restaurant until the time I received my food was 33 mins. The employee taking orders at only 1 register took 2 orders in the 33 mins I stood there and slowly walked around and looked for things to do other than take orders and did them as slow as she could and it’s like she was avoiding taking orders because she would look up and see 12 people in the line and would find anything else to do except go to the register and take the next persons order. Never seen anything like it. Luckily another employee started taking orders at the 2nd register. There were only 2 people in front of me in line when I walked in. There were plenty of employees working so there was no excuse to be THAT slow whatsoever. Someone needs to find a way to motivate these employees to work at a normal pace. Just went through the drive thru & ordered the holiday special that they have with 3 chicken fingers, fries & a pie.. along with a grilled chicken sandwich & 1 REGULAR Dr. Pepper & 1 DIET dr. Pepper.. (for a diabetic)... we FINALLY get to the window and the man working handed me our 2 drinks. We asked which one was the Diet drink and he laughed & said "sippy sippy is all I know to tell you.. ( hand on the bible, word for word what he said) handed me the food and closed the window. Our food was COLD, BOTH drinks were REGULAR dr. Pepper, what little fries I got were just thrown in the bag & I was missing my pie. I have tried to call Jacks 3 different times and each time the phone rings 1 time and then it hangs up. I'm not usually one to leave a review online much less leave a negative one.
