Los Arcos — Restaurant in Haleyville

So I'm not saying their racist but I've definitely had a couple of bad experiences. My first visit was at the request of my youngest for his birthday, and we waited around 45 min for the waiter to take our order. He seemed more interested in the group of girls that came in after us. He made sure they had drinks and their order before coming back to us. The second trip was not much better. I ordered birria tacos and received carnitas. I told the waiter I had the wrong order, and there was no consomé, so he brought me a bowl of salsa Verde....I get it, I'm white, what do I know about traditional Spanish dishes...well enough to know my order was wrong, but I ate what I was given and have not been back inside since. Don't get me wrong, I love the food,but service is not up to par. I order online with doordash...

The food at this place, and drinks, used to be great when it was called Cabos San Lucas. Now that it's under new ownership, the food and drinks are horrific. The margaritas don't taste as good and they're not as strong. Even worse, I ordered a chile relleno and I got a bell pepper cut in half with bland cheese and meat poured into it. It was an embarrassment. It's extremely sad that something that was really great for Haleyville...

We visited for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was. My husband had steak street tacos and he cleared his plate. I had 3 grilled soft tacos, one shrimp, one chicken and one steak. I couldn't eat them all. Everything was so flavorful and our service was top notch.
