If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. The food is good tasting, it's the service and staff that absolutely suck!! I went out to dinner here with my friends last week and the woman who sat us only asked how many of us there were and practically threw our menus on the table without saying anything at all and then walked away. Our server was even worse, though. I asked what soda options they had and she said Pepsi products. I asked nicely for a Mountain Dew (that's a Pepsi product, is it not?) and she questioned it and was like "in the bottle?" like yeah I don't really care how it's served I just want my drink. Not to mention she was talking really fast at us and not being patient with us while we were ordering. She had a lot of attitude and didn't come and check on our table to see how we were doing or ask us if we wanted refills or anything like that. When the check came I left a low tip because she did not at all deserve 15 or even 10%. She's lucky I even tipped her anything at all to begin with. She took the check and as she was walking away, turned back and questioned the tip I gave her. She said "it's not even 15%" and I said, "is it supposed to be?" She dramatically sighed and rolled her eyes and literally slid the check across the table back to me. I wanted to leave with my friends right then and there and leave her with my original tip, but she would have probably made another comment about it. I left 15% but only because I felt forced into doing so. This server did not and does not deserve anything at all. I will never EVER dine-in there again. I can't believe some of these other reviews I've seen that are saying how awesome this new management is. If this place is lucky enough, maybe I'll order takeout someday because the food is pretty good. But you'll never catch me setting foot in that...
Read moreThis is similar to the old Hawaii Gardens with some changes. I have visited 3 times since the opening. The place inside looks exactly like the Old Seasons which was here before them, it definitely would have been nice to see more changes, the plants and art are nice touches but it leaves room for more. So far I have tried.. Their lo mein which wasn't bad, however I am not fond of the new rounder noodles opposed to the older flat "egg noodle" style which holds the flavors and sauce better and I definitely miss the larger variety of vegetables (What is up with the missing red bell peppers and the overuse of celery?) Their fried rice is good, a bit heavy on the soy sauce but a nice overall flavor and it is not too dry. Their chicken fingers, beef teriyaki and crab rangoons are fantastic as they used to be (yay!), and the tea is no longer a traditional black tea but definitely tastes like rooibos (honeybush tea... Boo!) which is not as pleasant to drink during the meal. Portions are huge, plenty to take home for several meals after each visit even just ordering a single luncheon special, service is always pleasant. Drinks are strong but good, and virgin pina coladas were very tasty. I miss the nice cloth "table napkins" that were at the old location and the fruit that used to be brought for dessert as well as the bread that used to be brought with the tea. If I had not known the old location for what it was, this would be a solid chinese restaurant for a small town, and even though I personally preferred many things left unchanged, they are still doing a very...
Read moreWe ordered a Poopoo platter for two with some white rice on the side. With the exception of the plain white rice and the eggrolls, this place was just horrible. The crab Rangoons were greasy and tasted rancid. The filling had a very bad taste to it as well. The pork strips were full of fat with too much of a stretchy snap when you bit into them. The Beef teriyaki was chewy and I’m not convinced was cooked thoroughly. The Fried shrimp was greasy too and the inside of the batter was gooey as it wasn’t cooked enough. Because we did not want the chicken fingers we got double chicken wings. The wings were loaded with Grease to the point where they looked wet. And they were not cooked and very pink inside. We show these to the waitress and told her to bring us chicken teriyaki instead. Well the cooks must’ve said to themselves “oh you want your chicken cooked do you? “, Because we got a plate of chicken teriyaki that were so over cooked all of the edges around the entire strip of meat or black and crunchy. I looked at the waitress in total disbelief. If I had not been invited to this lunch as a present and if I had been there with my husband I would have walked out without paying. The worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life I would have walked out without paying. Chinese food I have ever hadin my life. This review is written as pure actual fact and without any sarcasm or bitterness it’s just the plain truth. I see other many good reviews for this place so I don’t know what happened with my experience but I will...
