Nonnie’s Italian Grille — Restaurant in Halifax

Went here with my husband. I ordered chicken quesadilla it was disgusting. It had chicken, peppers and onions inside and melted cheese on top. The tortilla was soggy and all the ingredients were dry and tasteless. The inside had no flavor or cheese. Very strange. The peppers were raw. The thing fell apart once I picked it up because it was soggy and nothing inside to hold together. Worst quesadilla I've ever had . The bus girl took the food away after I told her it was not good. I didnt eat it. The busser must not have told waitress and she left bill . My husbands pastrami was delicious so I gave it three star for his food that he shared with me . We left a note on check explaining s was bad because she already ran the card . They still didnt comp my meal after we left which is my fault for assuming they would. For $100 you expect better. I’m convinced everyone in the kitchen is new? Ordered a cheese burger well done. The outside was burnt and the inside was raw.... my kid wouldn’t eat it and I don’t blame her. Seafood papperdelli was $24 and the presentation was trash. The noodles were over cooked and stuck together in a big clump while at the same time falling apart and basically being mush. The noodles were not tossed in the sauce. The seafood was either over cooked or just low quality or both. That may be the most expensive thing on the menu and it was unimpressive and unsatisfying. I'm really shocked at some of the bad reviews I have read here and question their credibility...we have gone here countless times and every time, the food is delicious and consistent. Never had a bad meal here, EVER. The person complaining about the place smelling moldy, I question that because this Tavern has been here maybe a year. We have never smelled mold. The only negative thing I agree with its that it is dark in there, but, they do open the blinds if you ask. You also have to remember that it is a Tavern so the dark atmosphere is just that.
