Best Authentic Tacos—Hidden Gem in a Gas Station! Over a year ago, my husband took me here for the first time, and when he said “gas station tacos,” I thought he was INSANE. But FEAR NOT—these are hands down the best, most authentic tacos we’ve ever had!
The tortillas are soft, the meat is juicy and tender, and the rice and beans are simple yet absolutely to die for. No frills, just pure, delicious authenticity—exactly how tacos should be! The chips and guacamole are straightforward but totally worth it. And the best part? It’s all super affordable!
To top it off, they have homemade popsicles that are not only authentic but also my must-have dessert treat every time we visit. My absolute favorites are the pistachio popsicle and the "cookies" popsicle with vanilla Oreos—both are rare finds, so if you see them, STOCK UP!
The staff is always friendly, service is fast, and the whole experience is just unbeatable. My husband and I make the drive at least once a month, and it’s always worth it—for the tacos, the popsicles, and, of course, the one-of-a-kind gas station vibe!
Highly recommend this spot to any...
Read moreSo I didn't think too much of this place at first because it's inside of a gas station.
We then went over to the taco thing that's just right inside the gas station and we ordered steak tacos, chicken tacos, shredded beef tacos, and tamales. When we got our food it looked amazing delivered kind of like fast food but in an area where you can sit down. The green sauce that they have is hot but it is so tasty it is so good you just can't stop eating it even though it's so spicy. Even my 4-year-old couldn't stop eating tacos. She's a very picky eater so finding something that she'll sit and eat non-stop is a blessing.
This is one Mexican place I will go back to and I don't care that it looks like a hole in the wall dive place that you wouldn't typically want to eat.
I will go back here every chance I get an opportunity to. The food is so amazing and smells so great you just can't help but want to go back and the employees make it where you feel like you're a part of their little...
Read moreI really should have known it was a risky move to order Mexican food from a gas station, but I threw caution to the wind. The food tasted great, but unfortunately, both my girlfriend and I ended up with food poisoning. While I was mainly dealing with frequent visits to the toilet, my girlfriend was hit harder, experiencing vomiting and then having to rest in bed. I hope she recovers soon and doesn't have to miss work.
It's possible that others won't have the same reaction to the food, but I urge caution. We won't be returning to that location.
The absence of a bathroom within the gas station raises concerns about their overall cleanliness standards. It's crucial for them to maintain a clean cooking environment and ensure proper handwashing practices to prevent similar incidents with...
