This place has had a history of skimping on toppings for a while. I spent $40 on pizza recently and once again, the trend continued. On one of my large pizzas, I paid for multiple toppings but two slices barely had any ham on them. On my Deep Dish, the was maybe two or three pepperonis per slice while some of them were falling off the side. Very sad sight. When you charge as much as you do for a one topping pizza, the least that can be done is make it look like a one topping pizza—not a cheese pizza which some toppings accidentally fell onto. Not sure if the quantity is HH policy or just a disconnect from corporate and this location/young workers. I have been a patron at this location for many years but until things change I cannot recommend it. Just go to Marcos or little Caesar’s in Pinckney.

I placed an order on the road and asked if it was the "Lakeland" location when the girl answered. She said, "yes, it is". I placed my order and arrived 30 minutes later just to discover that I wasn't calling the Lakeland store. GRRRRR But the girl running this location was super sweet, super apologetic and went out of her way to make sure that I was taken care of. She hustled out my 2 pizzas right away and it was nearly half the $ that the other store was gonna charge me. Thanks to her, im a very happy. Customer and I'll always be coming here for my pizza for now on! Idk what Hungry Howies is paying this girl, but it ain't enough! As an employer myself, I can tell you that people like her don't come easy! Her name is AUTUMN.

Disgusting and dirty place! young teens basically run this business….. more play time gets done then the actual work. My order is always messed up or in this case “not cooked”. Tried giving them multiple chances and talking on the phone nicely as I work in the food industry but this is just not acceptable.

This goes back to with in the last 2 yrs, i just never wrote a review until now. So...This place screwed up 3 times, and I will NEVER, EVER use this location. I'll go to a different Howie's or competitor.

#1 It started about 2 yrs ago. I went in for one of their Grab n Go pizzas (Hot n Ready). They said it would be just a couple minutes. So I sat on the bench waiting. 10 minutes goes by, and the employee who had helped me said "Oh..,sorry.. I forgot about you" and the place wasn't even busy at all.. I don't believe 1 person walked in the whole time I was waiting. So finally got my order and left. I figured, ok.. 1 mistake on them, its fine..

#2. I had called, and placed my order, and showed up at the time they told me to. I did, they said it shouldn't be no more than 5 min, ok, that's fine. 10 min. goes by, they gave me what they "thought" was my order. Thankfully I opened the box to verify it was. Guess what??IT WASNT!! My order had been sitting in the warmer box THE WHOLE TIME since I walked in!! By then, I was pissed for waiting 10 min. when the order was ready when I initially walked in. I raised a stink about about it and said I would NEVER come back. And I didn't for a couple months, until I decided to see if they can redeem themselves for the previous 2 mistakes. Which now comes to the final straw

#3. This time I placed my order through the phone app, which seemed quick and easy to use. I placed it for a certain time, and expecting it to be ready (within a few minutes) when I arrived there. So I walk in, and guess what?? "Sorry, we don't show an order for you". WHAT?!?! You gotta be kidding me!! "Oh wait, Sir.. we forgot to make it. We'll make it right now". That was it... I LOST IT on these people. I said "now for sure I will NEVER, EVER come back!!" They asked what they could do for me. I said, "I want my $$ back, I want you to give me the order at no charge, and after that, you will never see me again!". They did refund me, and free meal, and I have not been back since. I had mentioned that I will visit the location on Whitmore Lake Rd/8 Mile/US-23 in the future. They told me that their pizza isn't as good, and I said "We'll see about that". Well, the Whitmore Lake Rd location was ALWAYS fresh, CORRECT and READY when I arrived!! So hats...

I have many orders from this specific location, gave seven to eight dollar tips each time, and everything was fine at first. Then, I complained once about an order taking approximately one hour and thirty minutes, and arrived barely warm. They told me they had a school event, so I didn’t ask for a credit. Since then, I have had more than a few orders take over an hour, while their website says it’s completed already. Sometimes it would have a seal on it, so people wouldn’t open it, sometimes it did not, and it usually did. Recently, I made an order and it took over one hour and thirty minutes to arrive. When it did, the driver set it down on my chair, near the door, in the cold, and left. He also left my drinks on top of the pizza box, and the seal on the box was torn in half. For a seven dollar tip? Pathetic. Never have I selected the option for them to leave it outside. It was barely warm as well. I called and talked to the manager, and she said she would add a credit to my account. I said can they just drive another pizza out? She said yes. When it arrived, the driver sat in his car for about a minute and a half, for some reason, which is irregular, based off of most past deliveries. It was also dark out. When I got the pizza, there was no seal on the box. I called them back and talked to the manager again, to ask if it was sealed, and she checked with someone, who immediately said yes, which I could hear, then she said yes to me. This means one or more drivers has been removing the seal or tearing it, delaying my delivery (possibly), and who knows what else. If there’s any food tampering going on, the individuals responsible, as well as the company could be sued, and that is a liability. This place, the management, and the drivers need to be investigated. Corporate will hear about this. I was always very kind to anyone I talked to, that delivered, and gave generous tips. This place needs a clean out. No matter what, I will never go to this place again. If you have psychologically damaged workers, unfit for society,...

Food has always been great but tonight my service was ridiculous. I made an order on the app, as I always do. I waited an hour, the app said the order was still being made. So I called, the employee tells me she can't find the order, please hold. She left me on hold for so long that I drove up there while I was on hold still. She came back on the phone after about 7 mins on hold and I'm about to pull in the parking lot. She proceeds to sit in silence until I ask what she figured out, if I made a mistake and ordered pick up instead of delivery. She says, "oh well do you want me to just refund you?" I said what do you mean, I just called to figure out if I made a mistake and where my order is. She said "oh well you called to complain so I think it's best we just refund you". So i hung up the phone as I puled into the parking lot and went inside. Ma'am I didn't call to "complain" I asked very respectfully if I had made a mistake and if you can double check. She tells me that she sees the order but for some reason it didn't print a ticket out, so basically they didn't make the order and says they just refunded me. The whole experience was just ridiculous and really frustrating and disappointing because now it's 10:30pm and trying to find some where else to get food delivered from in this area...
