Good Taste — Restaurant in Hamburg

This place is very local to us and we gladly drive an extra 15 minutes each way to go to BoBos instead. Why? Three strikes. Their food is bland. Not sure how else to say it. It just doesn't taste like much. Their prices are exorbitant. Items that are $4.99 at other places are $8.99 at Good Taste. I wouldn't mind paying if the food was really good but it's average at best. Finally, we've gotten take out from them a handful of times. And not once have I ever heard a single "Thank You". Not on the phone or when picking up or when tipping them. I don't need a place to blow sunshine, but for goodness sake, they are flat out rude. And it's not just one time. It's so blatant that the last time we went I told my friends to watch and sure enough they didn't disappoint. Most of the time it's as if you being there is nothing more than an inconvenience and I don't like feeling like I'm being a nuisance when giving them my patronage. Today I ordered combination sesame chicken fried dumplings boneless spare rib tips and beef lo mein , The fried dumplings had no taste the dough was doughy, The sesame chicken again no taste blah , only thing good out of the four things was the boneless spareribs tips and the beef lo mein, when I am in Bergen County I will definitely be picking up Chinese food

I was wondering if Good Taste is under new ownership? We LOVED their food. The past couple of times we ordered for pickup or delivery, the food was very disappointing. The man that took my order today had a difficult time understanding that I wanted 4 different combination dinners. I said what kind of soup, rice and egg roll I wanted for each order. When I got home, my order was short a soup and 3 egg rolls. My fault for not unpacking my order there. I felt the cost of our order was expensive before I realized my order was incorrect.
